It is said that the limitless ocean of consciousness has a definitive centre. You might have heard about it, or sensed it in the moments of unbearable love or pain, or maybe it simply occurred to you in a dream. It happens so that this center is manifested in the form of a great tree.

This tree was there a long time before you came around, and will be there long after you are gone. Its branches are reaching out into the infinitude of skies, yet its omnipotent roots grow ever deeper into the heart of this Earth. And it stores all the pain, as well as all the love that has ever emerged.

As we travel the lengthy paths of our lives, this mighty tree keeps blossoming inside us, patiently observing our silly games of existence, constantly providing us with clues that help us to understand both the universe within ourselves and the universe with-out.

Every time we cease following the rivers of noise, stop for a moment and carefully listen, this tree provides us with guidance. And it is this very act of stepping out of the endless game and hearing its guidance is what we call perceiving the Signs of Nature.
