"Humani Generis" simply means: "Human kind". This track is dedicated to one of the most intelligent, beautiful, prolific, creative, but at the same time one of the most problematic, savage and destructive species on this planet: humans. We go far into the old ages of Earth with our beings rooted into the distant prehistoric past, and our spirit has no space and time constraints. We were once in alliance with Nature, but now...we're slowly drifting off and disengaging. Yet, we are still young as a species. We need to learn a lot more about ourselves and the world around us. And we're bound to un-learn lots of things - by remembering the ways of the Old. Let the ancient Nature be our teacher.

In light of the current worldwide crisis of humanity, we are tempted to forget about the world that we're living in, the dwelling and source of all Life. We are to remind ourselves that it is Nature from which we've sprung out, and to which we owe our existence. We have been here for a while now, and we have survived against all odds, because we've respected the powers of Earth and forged our spirit through the thorns. Now, we are here; and we have the strength to live on, to learn from our mistakes. And to make this world a better place, only if we want to. To all of you brothers and sisters around the globe - may your spirit be strong and your faith unyielding.

Homeworld
