After a year hiatus, label head Miagma returns on his ‘Not Safe For Wax’ imprint with the label’s 3rd release titled ‘Close Approximation’. ‘Kaleidoscope’ takes subdued, four-to-the-floor kick drums, ghostly claps, and intermittent hi-hats that rotate every bar like geometric diagrams of a kaleidoscope fractal. The trance-inducing chords weave through by blending grandeur of colors into hazy patterns as if the track is alternating in-and-out of shape… collectively unifying into little moments of brilliance.
