Russian producer Komartsov makes his debut on Estonian label 'Gestalt' with a 4 track EP named Space Express. This is a leftfield house release that brings back memories of old school 80's movies. 'The Jungle Is Calling!' is an ambient leftfield house track that makes you feel like your watching Big Trouble In Little China Town on psychedelics. Space Express is set for release on Bandcamp on January 30th.

Since its launch in 2002, London-based Secretsundaze has been a space for people to connect through music and experiences. Whether it be through their legendary dance floors, labels, and studios, Secretsundaze's central mission has always been to create an open environment where people feel comfortable expressing their truth.

Having re-launched their Secretsundaze label last summer with their own Stand Up EP, label heads Giles Smith & James Priestley have kept themselves busy, putting out tunes from producers like Silvestre, Carista, Eliphino and Joe Claussell. Secretsundaze also recently started a new re-edit series 'Secretsundaze Edits' with a contribution from themselves and Ge-ology.

If that wasn't enough, it appears as if the duo are now gearing up to release a 3-track EP playfully titled Devious. The song we are premiering from it today is called "Over The Edge," which is a slow-burner of a tune that gradually increases in complexity and energy as it goes along. Although listeners might be unsure where the song is headed at first, Giles and James make sure the final destination is the dancefloor as they masterfully work in layer after layer - constructing one of the most rewarding build-ups I have listened to in a while. When the beat drops around the 4:28 mark, you might be wondering how we've arrived at this point? However, you couldn't care less because you'll be too busy dancing to this euphony of sound. For all you DJs looking for a late-night weapon, look no further than this momentous gem.

Dutch DJ, music curator and radio host Carista presents Modern Intimacy Volume 1, her first compilation album for United Identities shines a light on rising talents from The Netherlands. Captivating and forward-thinking, the carefully curated selection holds ten electronic-acoustic tracks that are drenched in soul, varying from dreamy songs to intimate treasures for dancefloors.

Modern Intimacy Volume 1 kicks off with two moving soul hymns; Jelee's impressive digital 'Diaspora' and Quanza's acoustic, multi-instrumental 'A Death Supreme'. Sykes brings the broken drums with his infectious builder 'Take'. It is the perfect bridge to the five genre-defying house tracks on the compilation; the lush sounding 'Gloom' by United Identities long-stay Beraber, Laza's groover 'Revelations', Najel Monteiro's hazy 'Limbo' and Panda Lassow's chuggy 'Stability'. The label's versatile, yet harmonious musical approach becomes even broader with Mary Lake's intimate, jacking hitter 'Dribble', Alberta Balsam's futuristic 'Dig301', closing with Black Cadmium's pounding breaks in 'Break Up’.

On her mission to connect like minded lovers of contemporary music, Carista started her United Identities label as well as her inclusive club nights a few years ago. Through her platform, she fell into many unfamiliar, surprising local artists. Today, she is beyond proud to offer a selection of the music that has crossed her path, and a taste of what's to come on the label.

The music of Maltese producer Rudi Agius aka Jupiter Jax has always felt as much defined by mood as movement, guided by the “specific melancholy” of specific melodies. His latest long-player skews even more cinematic, conjuring twilit gardens and crooked city streets, windswept and warped by memory: No Such Thing. Inspired by notions of escape and the unknown, and threaded with dexterous live instrumentation, the album treads vibrant hybrids of moonrise electronica, downtempo dream house, and Balearic breakbeat, brooding but breezy, a Mediterranean midnight of the mind.

Agius speaks of his songs in terms of intuition and inevitability, how and where they transport the listener. These twelve tracks slip between senses and spheres, interplanetary but placeless, noir glimpses of ghostly coastlines and reflective reveries. Flutes, trumpets, voices, and percussion contour his club designs with a tactile fluidity, jazz accents reflecting off rain-slicked marble harbors, the wakening dawn still worlds away.
