Our 23rd EP in the Tales series is in the hands of the Berlin based artist Shelter on Wax. Oranienstrasse starts off with a very atmospheric Detroit vibe in the title track followed by the euphoric dub vibes in Nanne. Joining Shelter on Wax we have Moff & Tarkin and long time label friend Gnork have a go on the remixes each with their own rendition of Oranienstrasse. The different approaches make for an interesting combination of sounds on the same EP which should give most electronic music fans something to chew on. We first spotted Shelter on Wax some years ago when he released the track ‘Untitled (Pbar Cut)’ which first appeared on a rare dubplate which ended up getting released on Idealistmusic in 2018.

This track is a tribute to my NY house heroes and has literally been sitting around on my hard drive for over half a decade. Somehow it still holds a special place in my heart, but after an artist I respect flipped the main sample last year, I decided to share it with you as a free download.
