This is an update from Paloma Crisis Management HQ.

As you can imagine, we have to cancel a lot of events due to the Corona Virus situation. We do not regret that in terms of fighting the further spreading of the virus. But of course we regret that the music of the originally booked DJs will not be heard. We were pondering ways to fight that as well and decided to install a podcast solely dedicated to those DJs, as we wanted to provide something more lasting at a time when nobody knows how long a lot of things will last (this does not apply to COVID-19 though, that can go not lasting anymore ASAP).

If we are able to re-open again at some point we will do our best to find ways to compensate the losses of the DJs and our staff with more than just this exposure. But in the meantime, stay reasonable, healthy and safe, and let the music play.

Here’s a recording taken from last year's ‘F**k Disco Demolition’ party at the excellent Paloma club in Berlin, it was such a wicked night and great to play alongside Dan Curtin and the LiveJam crew. Sadly we weren’t able to return for our party this July due to Covid 19 but hopefully this set will keep you going til the next one!

it’s only the second time I’ve donned my Ron Bacardi hat (literally) in Berlin (the first being at Panorama Bar a few years ago). For those unfamiliar with the vibe, it’s Raw House, Mutant Disco and original Warehouse grooves, taking inspiration from Chicago masters like Ron Hardy, DJ Rush and Derrick Carter and mixed up in my usual energetic style. 

These occasional sets are a lot of fun to do, hope you dig this recording.
