The subconscious cave is not an empty space in the conscious mind, it is a bubbling space, haunted by questions and mystical activity.

“Natif” (Stalactite - in Hebrew) is a seventh tracks EP by Tel-Aviv based DJ and producer MYKI.

Any substance, water drip or murmur reveals a cloak of meaning in the form of a showy echo. A variety of ancient animals, forbidden imaginary fruits and mysterious passions sneak in at night and look for a place of refuge to rest, to sleep.

The stalactites (Natif) are amorphous juice from the bottom of the mind, they are the seeds of confusion and irrationality and they seep through cracks in the cave and produce chaos and trembling until suddenly, out of a nightmare are born proud crystals of splendor and inspiring beauty.
