‘El Gran Duelo’ is a sultry instrumental Downtempo collection of tunes with Latin, Jazz, Soul and Electronic inspired touches. ‘El Gran Duelo’ kicks off the album with classy acoustic guitar melodies, a proud trumpet, a quixotic beat and rousing Electronic sounds and samples for an impressionable start. Following, ‘Dialogue’ features a smooth rhythm, lush, full and earnest instrumentals and a keen vinyl scratch sample for a sunny, illuminating tune. ‘Rainy Sunday’ utilizes live storm sounds, a reverberating electronic synth, active drum beat at about 110 BPM, a suave, telling sax, and fresh scratch samples. ‘Midnight Steps’ also uses soulful organ key notes, and boss, chill sax, along with sassy jazzy female vocal samples, a steady beat and delicate bongo drum breakdowns. ‘One Time’ begins with heartfelt guitar riffs, soulful undertones, sitar notes, playful drum patterns for a reverie of sweet undulating sounds. Ending is ‘Rio’, a refined piece with tin percussions, piano and sax sections in cool and rhythmic riffs, a round upright bass line for a breezy, jazzy, Island music tune. Born in 1974 and raised in Egion where he started working as a dj at the age of fourteen.
In parallel to djing, he delves into production as an artist and co founder of Cast-a-Blast in 2006. Along with Blend Mishkin he forms the duet Palov and Mishkin, launching the compilation “Backslam Extravaganza” (2007). They then went on to release the widely praised album “Think Twice” (2009) while at the same time remixing and editing for highly acclaimed labels such as G.A.M.M., Rebtuz,  Resense, Bastard Jazz, Tru Thoughts ,Love Monk etc.
Since then Palov went on to release his debut solo “Whats That” revealing the smooth musicianship between him and the guitarist player Angelos Angelides. Within as well outside the framework of this partnership he forged production and remixing collaborations with several artists including Caro Emerald , Mo’ Horizons, Lady Faye ,Maraveyas Illegal, Daniela Bolano, Kill Emil and BNC.Nowdays he’s collaborating with Panama Cardoon and together they’re running a label called Carnibal.
Actively djing all this time he has shared the decks with well known djs/producers like Quantic, Andy Smith, Bonobo, Nickodemus ,Lack of Afro ,Florian Keller, Jon Kennedy ,Henry Storch ,Ben Lamdin ,7Samurai, Herbaliser ,Tm Juke , Mo’Horizons , Rob Luis  to name a few.
