Mattias Svensson's "EP" is the result of a long journey of songwriting, emotion and religion. Inspired by artists such as Tracy Chapman and D'Angelo, Mattias creates with fellow producer Martin Johan-Lo a sound that takes the modern indie rnb sound to a whole new level of exciting, nordic emotional soul.

Mattias has a background of playing jazz saxophone, doing small singer/songwriter gigs and singing gospel. First single "Born Was The Revolution", draped in dramatic harmonies and a galloping beat, is a dreary battle song about hesitation and crossing waters. Cover art is made by Henric Claesson (This Is Head, Studio Pop).
 
"EP" is released on 1st of February 2015 on Stockholm based indie label Studion Schmudion.
