GAB MIX 049 sees Reykjavík-born and Berlin-based Jadzia step up to the controls with a deep dive through her expansive collection of electro! We first came across Jadzia’s music through her outrageous releases on RAIDERS’ “Queens Of Club: Night Shift” compilation and International Chromies Vol. 4! More recently, Jadzia has released music on Nasty Enterprises, Michigan-based none/such and Buenos Aires-based Dancefloor Impact Research. 

As well as this Jadzia has ran the incredible Sweaty Records since it’s inception in 2016. The label’s most recent record saw Volruptus and Jensen Interceptor collide to provide some of the stankiest electro we’ve heard in a while! 

It’s no surprise therefore that Jadzia’s GAB guest mix offers up 70 mins of GRITTY electro. Although Jadzia incorporates breaks and techno outings at points, her mix is firmly rooted in the unadulterated power of electro as well as its cosmic, intergalactic and amphibian tendencies.

Some of you might already know her from Cologne based Line Ups and her recently co-founded party series called "Précey" @ Jaki Klub.

Now Aino DJ has recorded a blissful set for us, mixing playful breaks and electro from the 90’s and 2000s with modern sounds, showing with full force what we can expect in the near future.

Boris Bunnik is a prolific producer based in The Netherlands who has consistently created incredible electronic music across multiple styles as Versalife, Conforce, Severnaya and Vernon Felicity building a wide fan base and widely regarded as a master of the trade with records produced for highly respected labels including Rush Hour, Delsin, Frustrated Funk, Clone and Further Electronic. Following the magnificence of his debut album ‘Manifold’ on 20/20 Vision he now returns with his second full length album ‘Chronoception’.

Chronception sees Bunnik expand from rigid electro beats (Polyshron) into more freeform excursions featuring liquid breakbeats layered with rasping synths (Perceptual Time Dilation), futuristic soundscapes (Altered Sense), intricately woven random sequences featuring tight drum programming (Oculus). Bunnik always manages to elicit emotions from the machines with an extraordinary amount of feeling poured into the circuits until each song tells a story from the melancholy of Equilibrium to the future worlds of Clairvoyance.
