On 21st September the rising French DJ/producer Simo Cell presents new mini album ‘YES.DJ’ – his first solo record since 2018 – released on his own label TEMƎT. A celebration of dance music culture, each of these heavy-duty, titanium-plated bangers are a tribute to different styles of beats, reinterpreted and suffused with his distinct personality.

The release also comes with a fanzine, which continues the celebration of DJing and dancefloors from a sideways perspective, curating photos taken by Simo of drinks tokens from clubs around the world.

Son nom vient du célèbre film de Kubrick et s'inspire de son jeune personnage et son extraordinaire télépathie. Depuis 2001, cet artiste Français est hyperactif avec des sorties sur des labels comme Shipwrec (@shipwrec), Last Known Trajectory (@last-known-trajectory), Transient Force (@transientforce), New Flesh (@newfleshrecords), Minimum Syndicat ou Mechatronica (@mechatronicamusic). Ce nouvel album est une profonde odyssée dans le groove froid des sons représentatifs de l'electro. On a choisi pour vous la track "The Children's Place", mélange savant de breaks caractéristiques de l'artistes, synthés à la fois terrifiants et rayonnants, et voix enfantines vous invitant à venir jouer dans un endroit qui peut se révéler être angoissant. Une recette parfaite pour une track parfaite !
