Paula Juana is joined by producer/musician
Gabriel Cyr, one half of South African-US duo Thaba (with Khusi Seremane).Cyr, who primarily performs under the name Teleseen, focuses on left field house and techno with global influences. Before relocating to Europe earlier this year, Cyr split his time between New York City and Rio de Janeiro, working as a producer and engineer for an array of artists spanning genres from indie rock to dancehall. Seremane lived in Cape Town,mwhere he worked as a pharmacist during the day and made introspective Afrosoul by nightmas Lebadi and as a member of the musical collective Tapedeck Circutiry. Tragically, Khusi
passed away suddenly in July just as Soundway were about to announce the album ‘EyesmRest Their Feet’. Rest in peace, Khusi.

A mix centered around the sound of 90s/early 00s era Funaná from Cabo Verde. Intertwined with Soukous from Guinea-Bissau and a bit of Kuduro fusion from Angola, this hour is a fast paced journey around Lusophone Africa built to make you dance, enjoy!
