It's the mid 2000s, you're 13 years old and driving with your dad to the Croatian seaside, summer vacation just begun. It's 2am, you're sleeping in the backseat with your legs stretched out and your head hitting the door every once in a while, which makes it harder to sleep. Music plays quietly through the car radio, Croatian radio stations keep interfering with an Italian dance music station since you're close to the Italian border. The sleepy voice of a Croatian late night news announcer keeps getting mixed up with a pre-recorded mix of party tracks, some of which you know, but this time they sound faster. Your older brother is into Sonic Youth, he already explained that this type of music is cheesy and must be avoided, but you secretly like it. Over 10 years later, you're finally a person and you stopped pretending to give a shit about Sonic Youth.
