Interference is the first joint release from PAN and Visionist's Lost Codes, which is re-baptized here as PAN sublabel Codes. Two of Visionist's key discoveries, Mancunian hybridist Acre and Cambridge's transplant Filter Dread both cut their teeth on UK soundsystem culture and have appeared on vital outlets like Tectonic and Ramp. The pair's EP updates 8-bit grime, warehouse rave, and dark bass with hyper-modern sound design and bastard club rhythms. Rather than rely on mimicry, they contort familiar aesthetics, giving rise to the baroque, processional gloom of "Drumz 34" to "Flash Speed"'s bassbin elasticity and the modem drones of "Trashed" (for the steppers).

Hot on the heels of a much tasty EP for Munich's Molten Moods a few months ago, Leipzig's multi-strain hybridizer @leibniz clocks in with his second 12" for his own label @hundertrecords, following the 2017-issued 'Online'.

This release combines a series of live actions by HHY & The Macumbas, from November 2017 in a club in Barcelos to December 2019 in an oil tank in Tenerife Island, with a June 2019 open air performance featuring Adrian Sherwood on the mix in between.

HHY & The Macumbas emerged in 2008 from the cryptic SOOPA collective from Porto, a group of musicians and artists responsible for the early 00’s local experimental scene explosion. For the last decade, HHY&TM have been actively playing live with various ensemble configurations in venues, clubs and festivals all around Europe (Unsound, Primavera Sound, Supersonic, among many others) and released the albums "Throat Permission Cut" (Silo Rumor, 2014) and "Beheaded Totem" (House Of Mythology, 2018).

HHY & The Macumbas are a shifting musical entity where circular percussive mutations, brass riffs and electronics are dubbed by echoes in often sensory-overload live actions. Founded by Jonathan Saldanha, the ensemble works as a rhythm laboratory, in a constant research involving pressure, exhilaration, alterity and warped time perception.

Premiering 'Big Square Boxes' by crzxcrt taken from 'Irrational Dramas' compilation out June 22 via A Flooded Need

Irrational Dramas is androgynous thinking, mutant paranoia, instinct dominated by thought. It is bloody past, wild grace, certain consequences of an action never committed. A compilation of 11 artists, each of whom tried to explore the psychological and therapeutic role of the tragedy. The reference music scene is that of electronics with the most futuristic sound, rather than the most disturbing ambient, or the most ruthless and cathartic bass music. In fact, catharsis is the central theme on which this V.A. is focused, understood both from a physical point of view - and fifths of catharsis full of dynamism, body, movement - and from an emotional point of view (like the liberating detachment from passions through strong events, taking up the Aristotelian concept).

From purification we can regenerate ourselves, our perennial dissatisfaction is our engine of action.

@yuyuclubmexico x Infinite Machine V/A is a collaboration whose result is a compilation of 14 tracks designed for the dance floor; solid, functional and esoteric. This is a selection of tracks produced by Mexican artists involved in the Club movement from different cities in Mexico, all of them with a conceptual and geographical separation, but with common features that synthesize the essence of the national scene.

Definitive proof of the maturity of the Club scene in Mexico, this compilation is born as an initiative by the most important venue in the capital of Mexico: Yu Yu, which joins forces with the pioneering label Infinite Machine to curate this compilation. An avant-garde ensamble of projects which aims to exhibit a shared imagination through the unification of different styles and music genres. All of this comes from the perspective of Yu Yu's resident, Mexico City-based label, Infinite Machine. A label that has a direct correlation with the global club scene.

This effort also has the goal to financially support the artists involved due to the delicate situation we are going through. As they are part of Yu Yu's community, which is unfortunately closed at the moment. Artists involved from the likes of Nico, AAAA, Microhm with worldwide recognition to up and coming artists like Benfika, OMAAR, CNDSD and the current, most fresh national acts like Loris, KOI and El Irreal Veintiuno. Among other key pieces of national electronics, united in this soundscape of volatile frequencies.
