Kat Nzingha - 'Vorphic Skin'

Based in Philadelphia, Kat Nzingha is a multidisciplinary artist that explores experimenting with abstruse textures. By combining their sculptural works with heavy low-end frequencies and celebratory tones they create blissfully cryptic sonic materials that are the extended bodies of modified objects that they fabricate. Revealing the spirit within their sculptural entities in the sonic form of convulsing kicks, metallic percussion, and hyper-processed textures.

After releasing the EP Angeltribe on TT Label in 2020, Kat Nzingha releases their first vinyl 7” record with Toothgrinder Press with only 20 copies for purchase.

Vorphic Skin resonates from the idea of metamorphosis as transformation, and mutation as a modification. They activate the deconstruction of the internal human body and its process through industrial sonic textures.

Amnesia Scanner, the music and xperienz design group founded by Ville Haimala and Martti Kalliala, committed to the carnivalization of the now, present their first release on PAN; a neo-savage avant-EDM anthem for the faceless ragers amongst us.

The English and Mandarin vocal refrain, is performed by Chinese-born, Berlin-based performance artist and musician Pan Daijing.

AS Chaos marks the beginning of a new cycle of work to be released with PAN throughout 2018. It follows their two 2016 EPs AS and AS Truth on Young Turks as well as the critically acclaimed, independently released audioplay Angels Rig Hook and AS Live [][][][][] mixtape.

The release is mastered by Jeremy Cox. It is accompanied by artwork, a t-shirt and video by Amnesia Scanner’s long-time collaborators PWR Studio and two performances: HKW, Berlin 6.4. and Donaufest 4.5.

Forever is in multiplicity and mutation. Musician and visual artist Nicola Tirabasso (VISIO), together with Haunter founders Daniele Guerrini and Francesco Birsa Alessandri called for a collective effort in order to celebrate these elements of experience. In opposition to linear notions of time itself. An attempt to let perceptions of future and past bleed together, to establish every moment as an infinite process of consumption and re-generation. A compilation of 33 artists, each contributing in their own peculiar style, adding their own blends to the palette and exposing the lineage of their work. It is precisely to state that the perennial immanence of difference is what constitutes the basis for true unity, that the curators have grouped an utterly diverse cast of contributors, whose output strikes a vastity of moods and textures, and grows out of very distinct intentionalities and backgrounds. Making kin without borders, letting mutual support evolve into a chimeric infinity.
