Chintu is a Hertfordshire based DJ/Curator, he runs a Project called Chintutang that started as a local hot sauce brand/art project for his homies during lockdown which later developed into a monthly linkup for 160 artists/DJs in London; forming a space for avid followers of the sound to gather around some decks, share music and stay practiced.

He has since locked in a monthly residency with Brixton Radio which is the current home for the Chintutang project throughout the colder months; showcasing the city's talent, with a firm focus in forward thinking music and the fundamental eras that allowed them to exist. Expect a dynamic three deck mix moving through different cultures and styles at THE magic bpm!

We’ve all been guilty of having one last cigarette or getting a stranger's life story outside the party and intentionally missing out on all the excitement! For our 13th release we urge you to run up inside the dance for “Don’t Hang In The Alley” by Pouty’s Rage! This badass human out of Baltimore came at us with 5 club bangers plus three remixes from SlowRolla, Rivs & Shretzah! Our opener “Uptown Skanker” kicks things off with a breaky club tune that borrows from jungle and old school rave, but spins it back into something refreshing! We roll on to “Let It Spin” which continues this sexy blend of old school rave, jungle, & club sound. The hypnotic vocal takes us to a time where we went to grungy warehouses on the weekends and felt the freedome of being in a UG setting. Tired from dancing nonstop for the last 2 tunes? Take a break with “Sending My Wubs”. This soothing song gives the listener life with its warm synths and warmer vocals. But don’t actually expect much of a break because its weighty bassline forces you back into your dancing groove! The tune that follows borrows from the big room breaks we would have heard at American stadiums 20 years ago but with a modern twist! “No Such Pressure” boasts its fat bassline, electro influenced noises, & percussion with serious swing! We round off this release with “Got 2 Know”, a blend of various American club influences plus a dreamy RnB vocal you may have heard way back in the day. The energy in this tune screams “stop smoking your life away and come dance”. This tune encapsulates everything we want to say with this release! Up next we got 3 remixes, Rivs & SlowRolla hit us with banging remixes that are sure to get the UG poppin’! We end this audio journey with a halftime remix from Shretzah! Big ups to Pouty’s Rage for allowing us to put this out, we are excited to see where the music takes you!

Oh yes, it's always a great day when there's new Dunman music on the horizon. We've been treated to so many top-drawer, sick sneak-peeks recently, whether it's through tight-lipped teases on his socials or through outlets like his slick, 100% own productions mix (apart from primed cuts by Kozzie and Gallah) for the don Oblig on Rinse FM, there's a tonne of Dunman material still yet to come. Thankfully, we're getting a big ol' chunk of that here, and to maximum effect and ferocity. This time, he's linked up with 140 tastemakers Simply Deep for his debut on the acclaimed imprint, after memorable appearances on the likes of Southpoint, Siege Collective, In:flux, Reloaded and more, as well as his own, excelling esc_ imprint. We premiere the lead track from the project, a lick that clocks in at an aggressive 145pm and one that's already received support from Ternion Sound, providing a suave insight into Dunman's expert production. What a corker.
