Oh Mann – Dieses Mal war die Zeit uns aber ein Stück voraus. 
Die zwei Wochen seit der No. 3 kamen uns vor wie ein klassisches verlängertes sportliches Wochenende. 
Jetzt aber schnell – Lieber spät als nie die zwei Wochen noch so einhalten.

No. 4 aus unseren Reihen. Proudly presents: Sqinkel 

Kennengelernt in der heiligen Halle und den angrenzenden Räumen des TBA in Dresden, war es nur eine Frage der Zeit, dass er in unseren Kreis finden musste. Spontane Afterhours taten ihr Übriges und seitdem erweitert er unseren bunten Kreis.
Musikalisch geprägt durch das TBA und uns bekannten längeren Wochenenden in Berlin zeigt er uns in seinem ersten Podcast, was ihn musikalisch bewegt. Rhythmisch treibend, dabei auch immer ein Auge auf dem Rave-Ordner, versteht er es den musikalischen Flow zum Höhepunkt zu treiben.
Das nächste RAVE:WERK geht definitiv nicht ohne ihn - Flow inklusive.

The two weeks since No. 3 seemed to us like a classic long sporty weekend. 
But hurry now - Better late than never, to still keep the two-week rhythm

No. 4 out of our ranks. Proudly presents: Sqinkel 

Met in the holy hall and the adjacent rooms of the TBA Dresden, it was only a matter of time that he had to find his way into our circle. Spontaneous afterhours did the rest and since then he expands our colorful circle.
Musically influenced by the TBA and the longer known weekends in Berlin, he shows us in his first PRWS - Podcast what moves him musically. Rhythmically driving, while always keeping an eye on the rave folder, he knows how to drive the musical flow to the climax.
The next Rave:Werk will definitely not go without him - and flow included.

* Time Change – von MEZ zu MESZ *

Endlich wurde der Winter letzte Woche auch offiziell von der Zeit verabschiedet. Ab nun endlich wieder MESZ – Die Mitteleuropäische SKOTSCH Zeit. Abends länger hell, länger warm und vor allem draussen. 
Draussen in der Hood unter freiem Himmel klingt Musik gleich noch ganz anders.
Weniger clean, dafür mehr Emotion – weniger Strobe, dafür mehr Sterne. Wir könnten das noch unendlich fortführen. Aber ihr könnt ja auch was tun ;)

Daher wird es Zeit für Ghetto-Sounds: No.5 (In Russland ist in der Schule die Note „5“ übrigens das, was die Note „1“ bei uns ist) – #Skotsch

Der gebürtige Ukrainer kam mit der elektronischen Musik in Kontakt als er nach Dresden kam. Gross geworden in der Platte (Wer Prohlis kennt, weiss was das....) - Daher wahrscheinlich seine Affinität zu Vinyl und Ghetto-Sound.
Seine ersten Erfahrungen auf der anderen Seite des Dancefloors sammelte er im TBA Dresden (Rave in Peace). Schnell war er Teil der Dresdner TechtelNächtel - Crew. 
Immer auf der Suche nach neuen Einflüssen, verbindet er spontan unterschiedliche Genres. Damit musste er definitiv bei der „Zeitverzerrung“ von #PANGAEA_urwaldzirkus im Sektor spielen und ist seitdem Teil dieser bunten Gemeinschaft. Neben dem Auflegen ist er auch spontan überraschender Grafiker und Hardware-Kombinierer. (Danke an #thecave050 - Cavecast026: Skotsch für die Inspiration) #Heart – Folgen lohnt sich definitiv.

* Time Change - from CET to CEST *

Finally, last week, winter officially said goodbye to time. From now on finally CEST again - the Central European SKOTSCH time. Longer light in the evenings, longer warm and above all outside. 
Outside in the hood under the open sky, music sounds completely different.
Less clean, more emotions - less strobe, more stars. We could go on and on. But you can do something too ;)

So it's time for Ghetto Sounds: No.5 (By the way, in Russia the grade "5" in school is what the grade "1" is here) - Skotsch

The native Ukrainian came into contact with electronic music when he came to Dresden. He grew up in the „Platte“ (those who know the area Prohlis know what ....) - that's probably where his affinity for vinyl and ghetto sound comes from.
He gained his first experience on the other side of the dance floor at TBA Dresden (R.ave I.n P.eace). He quickly became part of the Dresden TechtelNächtel crew. 
Always on the lookout for new influences, he spontaneously combines different genres. With that, he definitely had to play at PANGAEA's "Zwitverzerrung" in the „Sektor Evolution“ and has been part of this colourful community ever since. Besides DJing, he is also a spontaneously surprising graphic designer and hardware combiner. Sunday morning, the most beautiful sunrise, after almost a whole week in the desert. It was been the coldest night so far, I remember setting up my gear, nervously hoping it wouldn’t let me down, when the sound-technician came up to me and said, "We might have a problem, there’s a storm coming!“. I turned around and saw a huge dark wall of sand reaching up to the sky, rolling into our direction.
I started playing anyways, and somehow the storm merged together with the lyrics of my songs, and changed their meaning. It had been the roughest condition I ever played in, and it really was a special one. Thank you for that experience!

The Chapel of Dancing Shadows is a space of contemplation, meditation, wonder. It is a communal space serving as art gallery, refuge, and sound bath. The 8-ft walls are covered in delicate drawings— the first 12 images of a developing 150-plate series of works composing Maria Kreyn’s Codex, an allusion to an invented creation myth. The ceiling is an elaborate CNC cut structure, creating the feeling of an arabesque lace canopy. From it hang detailed rafters and a collection of wind chimes, as an ode to the sounds in the temples of Myanmar.   

"As a child, I doodled. As an adult, the images have evolved into a complex universe in their own right-- a surreal, yet classically inspired world of fantasy, illusion, spatial bending, and mythology. The images are meanderings through the labyrinths of the subconscious. They gesture at a creation myth of an invented civilization, at the beauty and aesthetic of pattern making in the human mind--both visual and literary.  As this body of work evolves, the images find new outlets, new homes, new media to participate in. Making their debut as the walls of an immersive installation (The Chapel of Dancing Shadows), they are now available to enjoy in a smaller, more intimate print form, closer to their original size.”  -Maria

The journey to the techno dreamland called Stroga Festival started at the tender age of 13. Celebrating at a techno festival at such a young age?! Sounds crazy, but that's how it is. The numerous impressions fascinated Paulus and never let go.

Little by little the interest to stand behind the decks and enchant the party people with beats grew. This dream came true at the Stroga Festival 2016, followed by gigs at Waldtanz Frauenhain, Electrozid, Kosmonautentanz, der BRN, im Sabotage, Club Paula, Sky Club Leipzig and Sektor Evolution. Recently he also became part of the Pangaea Jungle Circus Gang in Dresden.

With a big grin on his face, he likes to play dark, driving, straight, playful and sometimes melodic techno. It needs variety but must always remain danceable.

Hier nun wie versprochen der nächste Streich aus unseren Reihen. 
Schon etwas länger bei PANGAEA und noch viel länger beim STROGA. 
Sein Sound: Gerade heraus und ohne Kompromisse. Und dass die nicht nötig sind, hat er in der Vergangenheit schon oft bewiesen und wird es auch in Zukunft weiter tun.
Ebenfalls beim Rave:Werk 2020 letztmalig vor großer Menge im Sektor Evolution zu hören, zeigt er hier auf jeden Fall, dass er seinen Musikgeschmack und den Umgang mit der Technik noch lange nicht verlernt hat. Ganz im Gegenteil.

The clock keeps ticking. Two weeks have passed since the start of our Rave:Werk Series. 
Here as promised: The next prank from our rank. 
A little longer with PANGAEA and even longer with STROGA. 
His sound: straight ahead and without compromises. That these are not necessary, he has proven many times in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
Also heard for the last time in front of a large crowd at Rave:Werk 2020 in the Sektor Evolution, he definitely shows here that he has by no means forgotten his taste in music and his way of dealing with technique. Quite the opposite.

Das Hauptstadtradio sendet - Die Teegesellschaft ist entzückt. 
Used To Talk - Denn Plaudern will gelernt sein. 
Sein Sound, Berlin-geprägt direkt heraus. Direktflug von TXL nach Detroit und zurück zum neuen BER. Ganz viel Berlin und Detroit mit einem Spritzer Tonic.
Spätestens beim nächsten Rave:Werk im Sektor Evolution definitiv wieder mit dabei, WORD.


Like the Cheshire Cat we run through the apartment. The last weekend has moved away just as quickly as the new one has approached. The new Gin-Tea has been brewing for two weeks, and today it's finally on the table. In addition a piece of cake on each of the turntables? After all, it should taste good. 
The Hauptstadtradio broadcasts - The Tea Party is delighted. 
Used To Talk - Because chatting has to be learned. 
His sound, Berlin-tinged straight out. Direct flight from TXL to Detroit and back to the new BER. Lots of Berlin and Detroit with a splash of tonic.

Pangaea macht seit Januar 2014 Veranstaltungen in Clubs und Off-Locations in Dresden, Leipzig und Umgebung. Pangaea zeichnet sich durch sein breitgefächertes Angebot an Musik wie Techno, House, Acid-Techno und Rave aber auch Downtempo und Disco aus - verpackt in einer besonders aufwändigen & detailverliebten Deko.
Außerdem sind wir mit unseren Residents als Labelshowcase in anderen Städten und Clubs unterwegs. 

Pangaea makes events in clubs and off-locations in Dresden, Leipzig and surrounding areas since January 2014. Pangaea is characterized by its wide range of music such as techno, house, acid techno and rave but also downtempo and disco - packed in a particularly elaborate & detailed decoration.
In addition, we are on the road with our residents as a label showcase in other cities and clubs.
