Es geht in die nächste Runde. Nachdem in der Rave.Werk Series 001 - 005 ein Großteil unserer hauseigenen Künstler zum Zuge kamen, gehen wir jetzt den nächsten Step. 
PCS: Die Pangaea Cargo Series schließt nahtlos an und erweitert unser Spektrum um befreundete Künstler*innen und neuem Artwork. Wie es sich für Cargo gehört, hat jede*r eine hochbrisante Fracht dabei, in Form einer eigenen Interpretation von elektronischer Musik. Aber keine Angst, die Rave.Werk Series ist damit nicht beendet und wird Euch immer mal wieder unerwartet überraschen.
Den Anfang macht kein geringerer als #Lockertmatik aka. Kryptic Universe. Wir freuen uns mega darüber, dass er mit seinem Label unsere Reihe eröffnet.
Geboren und aufgewachsen in Dresden kam er auch über das Radio schon zeitig mit EBM, Acid und dem frühen Detroit Techno in Kontakt. Mit dem bahnbrechenden X-101 Album von Underground Resistance war es für ihn klar, das Platten her mussten.
1992 begann er in den Chillouts diverser Clubs bevor er 1995 zum Crew Member und Resident im bekannten Plastic Phreak wurde. Es blieb dann natürlich nicht aus, dass er auch begann, in Plattenläden zu arbeiten. 1998 im Humpty Records und später im Hard Wax Dresden. 
Als Producer sind seine Veröffentlichungen auf mehreren Labels zu finden unter anderm MORD, MDR, Shtum.

It's time for the next turn. After the Rave.Werk Series 001 - 005 featured the majority of our own artists, we are now taking the next step. 
PCS: The Pangaea Cargo Series follows seamlessly and expands our spectrum with friendly artists and fresh artwork. As you would expect from a cargo, each artist has a highly explosive cargo with them, in the form of their interpretation of electronic music. But don't worry, the Rave.Werk Series doesn't end there and will surprise you unexpectedly every now and then.
First up is none other than Lockertmatik aka Kryptic Universe. We are very happy that he is opening our series with his label.
Born and raised in Dresden, he came into contact with EBM, Acid and early Detroit Techno via the radio. With the groundbreaking X-101 album by Underground Resistance, it was clear to him that records had to be made.
In 1992 he started out in the chillouts of various clubs before becoming a crew member and resident at the well-known Plastic Phreak in 1995. Of course, he also started to work in record stores. First in 1998 at Humpty Records and later at Hard Wax Dresden. 
As a producer, his releases can be found on several labels, including MORD, MDR and Shtum.

Die Cargo Series ist zurück und hat eine ganz besondere Fracht an Bord!  Frisch aus Peru erreicht uns rechtzeitig zum Start der Sektgartensaison dieser grandiose Mix. Mehr House als Techno garniert mit etwas Acid House und groovy as f*** ist das, was ihr von den kommenden 60 Minuten erwarten könnt. 

@macartiproyect ist aber nicht nur als DJ unterwegs, sondern auch als Producer. Er hat unter Anderem auf dem Habitat Label (@street-habitat)aus Mexiko, @hotovenrecords und gerade seine neuste EP auf Go on Records (@goonrec) aus Brasilien veröffentlicht.

The Cargo Series is back and has a very special cargo on board! 
Direct from Peru we got this awesome podcast just in time for the start of the outdoor season. More House than Techno topped with some Acid House and groovy as f*** is what you can expect from the next 60 minutes. 

@macartiproyect is not only known for his great DJ sets but as well for his work as producer. He has already released at Habitat Label (@street-habitat)from Mexico, @hotovenrecords and just a few days ago his new EP at Go on Records (@goonrec) from Brasil. 
We put the Beautysekt (sparkling wine with juice ;) ) in the fridge and we are excited about the next open air with you guys!

For this mix, Snu showcases his love for vinyl records and dug out some gems setting the vibe for the upcoming summer and open-air season. Expect a diverse selection of 90’s groove, funky break-beats
and some more progressive wax. Enjoy the ride!

* Groeningen Chapter *

Pangaea Cargo Series 009 von @kloevedj nimmt uns auf eine besondere Reise mit. Früher gerne in der Dresdner Heide auf der Suche nach der besten Freetekk unterwegs, fährt er seit 4 Jahren goudaessend mit seinem Hollandfahrrad an Tulpenfeldern entlang. 
Aber seit zwei Jahren lässt er das Fahrrad öfter stehen und stellt sich lieber an die Decks und das so gut, dass er mittlerweile auch Teil von @thecave050 ist.
In seinem Mix nimmt er uns auf einen trippy Ausflug mit.  Dabei entstehen Soundgebilde aus Electro, Breakbeat und House, die einladen zu verweilen. Wir sind noch im Wunderland, aber hört selbst.

Pangaea Cargo Series 009 by @kloevedj takes us to a very special journey. Born and raised in Dresden, he always looked for the next independant open air at Dresdner Heide. But now he enjoys gouda-eating his holland bike rides through tulips fields. 
Two years ago he has started to discover the turntables and has become a member of @thecave050 crew.
His podcast is like a trip, a very awesome one. Erecting and disappearing sound formations consist of electro, breakbeat und house, seduce us to stay. We are still at wonderland, but discover it yourself. Enjoy!

Zehn Frachtladungen von 3 Kontinenten aus 5 Ländern haben wir euch trotz aller Meeresstürme, Hafenpannen und Glasscherben auf den Bürgersteigen sicher in die Wohnungen geliefert. 
Um das zu feiern, haben wir einen ganz erfahrenen Lotsen an Bord geholt @trevor-wilkes aus Hamilton, Kanada!

Ten cargo shipments from 3 continents and 5 countrys find their way through all storms, harbor issues and glas shards on the pavements into your homes.
To celebrate this, we have a special and very experienced navigator on board, Mr. @trevor-wilkes from Hamilton, Canada! 
He has streamed his Fun in the Murky's / Bleep Radio radio show every sunday sience 2004. But not enough. This was the base to found his own record label FitM in 2014 where he release his interpretation of techno.

His jubilee set is a safe harbor of electro and techno and always supported by break beats. We enjoy with a jubilee beautysekt to at least 10 more ;).

Click-bumm-bumm-bumm, click-bumm-bumm-bumm immer auf die 1, was passt da besser als die 11. Frachtladung unserer Podcastreihe für @Clickclick? 

Wenig überrascht, dass er uns passend zur Schnapszahl (bzw. für uns zur Sektzahl) einen prickelnden Sound in den Gehörgang eingießt. Der Beginn gleicht dem Aufstieg der Kohlensäure, die sich mühevoll den Weg zum Korken sucht. Danach folgt der Moment was Öffens und der Sekt strömt hinaus und überspült das bereitstehende Glas. Zum Schluss hört man nur noch das Hinunterstürzen in die durstige Kehle. Cheers!

Click-bumm-bumm-bumm, click-bumm-bumm-bumm always to the 1, what is there more fitting then the 11. Episode of Pangaea Cargo Series for @Clickclick.

Not surprisingly that he got the repdigital (schnapszahl or in our case champagne ;) ). His sound sparkles in our ears and reminds us to club nights with way to much of sparkling wine.

The arrangement is like the rising carbonic acid in bottles, looking for a way out. Then followed by the releasing moment and the joy of filled glasses. The closing sounds like loud applauding of thirsty friends asking for the next round.

🗯🗯 How Did Corona change your artist life? 🗯🗯

I’m not on the road anymore, obviously. I really miss travelling and since work and private interests are so much connected as a DJ I also miss many of my friends who I don’t see anymore. Since March I had many ups and downs. There were times where I was really un-inspired. Sometimes I need these tired, grumpy days after a long weekend to get into my music mood. The only feedback on your work is happening online such as comments and likes and followers - which are super nice, don’t get me wrong - but this feedback doesn’t replace a crowd on a party.

To play a few small festivals and Open Airs this summer got me back on track. I took many mental photographs to have the memories of these moments to keep them as some sort of tool to remember them over the hard winter time.

I try to stay active. With the beginning of the pandemic I started a weekly radio show together with my friend and colleague Mira until summer. We continue doing this irregular now. You will find my newest track you will find in this Podcast. It will be released December 1st on the 43 Katzen tanzen auf’m Tisch Compilation at Kiosk I.D.. I’m motivated now to continuously work on my own productions - finally!

Another for me very important project is working with the Bewegungsfreiheit solidarity party crew which raises money and awareness for refugees, their support structures and their situation in and around Berlin. In times like these you need new ideas how to do that without throwing a party. There is an ongoing donation campaign on an online platform. In the next weeks there are some nice  Bewegungsfreiheit merchs available such as hoodies and shirts - great Christmas/ end of the year gift by the way ;) In addition to that we plan to release a compilation next year with tracks of close artists.

And of course we - my Station Endlos crew and I - have to figure out how to adapt our plans to the current situation. We were supposed to open our venue in Halle in April this year. Usually the crew builds many festival stages during the summer which was only possible in a very limited way this year. Of course until now we couldn’t open our new home as we hoped. Let’s see which shenanigans we can plan for the upcoming year.

🗯🗯 Where did you record the mix and how did you feel? 🗯🗯

I recorded the mix at home in my small cozy apartment in Berlin. I was in quarantine because I had contact with someone who got tested positive. Luckily I don’t have any symptoms. I’m very good in spending time on my own and I don’t get bored that quickly. But when I recorded the podcast I slowly felt the insanity of not being able to leave my one room apartment, not even for a walk outside or to bring the trash down slightly kicking in.

🗯🗯 What are your wishes for the time after Corona? 🗯🗯

There are so many: world peace, everything for everyone until every person is happy, a healthy planet with healthy people and so on and so forth… Well, maybe a bit smaller: I really don’t want this situation to be the new normal. I want to play in a crowded, dark and dirty club again with smart and beautiful people and everyone less than 1 1/5 meter dancing from each other.

Pangaea macht seit Januar 2014 Veranstaltungen in Clubs und Off-Locations in Dresden, Leipzig und Umgebung. Pangaea zeichnet sich durch sein breitgefächertes Angebot an Musik wie Techno, House, Acid-Techno und Rave aber auch Downtempo und Disco aus - verpackt in einer besonders aufwändigen & detailverliebten Deko.
Außerdem sind wir mit unseren Residents als Labelshowcase in anderen Städten und Clubs unterwegs. 

Pangaea makes events in clubs and off-locations in Dresden, Leipzig and surrounding areas since January 2014. Pangaea is characterized by its wide range of music such as techno, house, acid techno and rave but also downtempo and disco - packed in a particularly elaborate & detailed decoration.
In addition, we are on the road with our residents as a label showcase in other cities and clubs.
