Today we share with you Module One's perception of Far Blue. Besides putting together very thoughtful mixes, Module One is a stellar producer as well. To build his own very personal story, he decided to go all original on his one hour long Far Blue concept titled 'Lost in Translation'. 

"The title of the mix is inspired by the linguistic phenomenon of losing or changing the context due to differences in languages and cultures, but for me that metaphorically relates to music where every listener has an individual perception and is able to hear the things the others cannot."

Alastair is the man behind Lempuyang, a UK-based label established in 2021 and deeply focused on dub techno sounds.

Among other artists, Ranges co-founder Roberto aka Hydergine first made an appearance on LPY-03, as part of a split release with Steve O'Sullivan under his Bluetrain alias. Hydergine is due to feature again this November on lempuyang's 3rd year anniversary compilation, alongside some seriously heavyweight names in the deep/dub techno realm. 

Lempuyang and Ranges labels are quite related in their sound palette. Testament to Roberto & Alastair's shared tastes, no less than 11 different artists have released material through both Ranges & Lempuyang.

This is the second time I've spent my birthday weekend playing a set at Heideglühen, and I don't think I could spend the very beginning of my 30s in a better place. I'm so happy and grateful to have this amazing opportunity to play at my favourite club in the world, a club that feels like home, where I'm loved and appreciated. 

This is a re-recorded set inspired by the music I played at Heide on the 2nd of November, it’s not a recording from a club.
