Hailing from Calgary, AB, Tone.D (AKA Tony Davis) has been immersed in the local bass music scene since his teenage years. Starting out as a passionate participant, he honed his skills and in 2017, he joined the Sub Chakra crew to take his mixes & community involvement to the next level.

Drawing inspiration from a range of influences, including grime, jazz and the entire 140 spectrum. Tone.D has developed a distinct style that blends deep, melodic beats with eclectic rhythms. Whether he's spinning at underground parties or festivals, he never fails to captivate the audience with his dynamic sets.

Dose. is the multifaceted DJ & Music project from partners Max & Taylor. Their musical style flows through genre bending Techno that fuses sounds from the Punk, Disco, & Trance eras...into what they call, Sluthouse.

Their event curation also focuses on elevating the way in which people experience dance culture. Dose. expands beyond the scope of traditional expectations; choosing to create unique and visceral Immersive Art Experiences. Their signature style explores the notion of events as Contemporary Art. Through cultivating these experiences Dose. uses their platform to create social commentary, amplify safer spaces & harm reduction, instil conversation, and transmit a conscious message.

Diversifying the stage is an absolute must for Dose. Within both their Music transmissions & Event Curation, it is their strong mandate to always have gender balance & equal representation. They consistently strive to represent fem folk, womxn, & queer Artists. Through this Dose. aims to break down barriers, create new industry standards, & open conversation surrounding the importance of diversity.

Mother Mary is Alex, a second-generation settler raised in Treaty 7 Territory (Calgary) and, as of last year, living the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples (currently-named Vancouver, BC). 

She’s often smiling and playful in her selections, doling out warpy speed garage cuts and energetic 2-step and breaks, but you’re just as likely to find her layering in heady, higher-tempo bass tracks. Her sets are genre-agnostic, always formed in response to the dance floor. 

When not behind the decks, you can find her settling in to her new city by running seaside, spending time with friends and taking in Vancouver’s thriving local scene.
