A Twist

We are PANOPTICAL, ranging from one to a moltitude of producers, embracing the full spectrum of sound techniques at 360°. From the primordial use of presets, breakbeat samples, and even AI to the meticulous crafting of our own unique sonic elements, we seamlessly merge various different techniques in each of our own tracks.

At the start, one of our members was hesitant about incorporating AI and presets into our creative process. However, we pondered the question: if an average producer can rely on samples and iconic sounds like 808's, 303's, and breakbeats, why not harness the power of AI directly?

While we do not create songs exclusively with AI, we have chosen to embrace and not dismiss the use of plugins that harness AI in various ways to enhance our creative process.

Thus, our innovative approach to music-making has evolved around this Panoptical perspective, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the realm of sound exploration mixed to a steady, mature and practical tradition of sound design.
