Alek Szahala (Paokala) is an electronic music composer / producer / performing artist from Finland.

Alongside Finnish acts such as Carbon Based, Re-form and Pain on Creation, Alek Szahala represents the first wave of Finnish Freeform. During his music production career, he has performed at over 100 festivals, clubs and other electronic music events in Australia, Europe, Asia and North America, and left behind over 50 releases on vinyl, CD and digital formats.

Paokala is Alek's side project focusing on soundtracks and video game music.

FINRG is Finland based record label and event organizer. It’s been one of the leading source of harder edge of electronic music since 2001

FINRG’s ethos is based on Finnish national epic Kalevala, which is the driving force to describe the dark and cold feel of the music and artists we represent.
