My name is Jay Somerville. I live in Edinburgh. I have been mixing since 2013. I use technic 2010’s with tracktor timecodes and a x1.  I mix a lot of techno, tech-house I also mix drum and bass, jungle and so on .I have a wide range of music I listen to and play.  My first gig was at Studio 24 in Edinburgh. A good mate of mine called Jamie (Beat Master General) runs a night in town called Shake Yer Shoulders (SYS) he was running a night called pop yer cherry in other words. It is for virgin dj’s to play there first set. My first set went really well, I had a lot of good feedback about the night. Since then I have played there again and I have also played at a few other nights/festivals/free parties: k-os audio, Wub Hut, Air 3 Radio, Audio Soup Festival, System anonymous free party. And I have just started a residency with Asylum, fourbyfour and fourplay. I hope I keep getting to play out I have met so many good people through music and hope to keep building a big family.
