Bercé dans la musique depuis sa tendre enfance, Jimbo a commencé à jouer des instruments à l'âge de 5 ans, de la guitare à la bass, en passant par la batterie et le keyboard, jouant dans divers groupes plutôt portés sur le Rock. N'ayant pas vraiment trouvé de style musical propre à son univers, il décida de partir dans une quête initiatique et introspective qui le mènera jusqu'en Nouvelle-Zélande (NZ) en 2009 où la découverte du monde du reggae/raggamuffin s'est imposée comme une évidence. Cette expérience lui a valu d'acquérir un certain niveau de confiance et d'aisance sur scène pendant les Live music, performant dans des divers bars d'Auckland avec le groupe Intrees.
La formation d'un groupe à Tahiti lors de son retour de NZ s'est poursuivie dans la continuité de son parcours musical et il s'est enfin trouvé son propre univers, n'hésitant pas à bousculer les connivences locales en intégrant à sa musique des sons propres à la Polynésie. Il s'est consacré entièrement dans la production depuis maintenant 4 ans (beatmaking, multi-instrumentaliste, vocals, auteur-compositeur) et dans l'oganisation des soirées soundsystem d'Irie Locals.
