Mortatoriel is the "official" name of Underswap + Aftergore. It's not something we'll be pursuing much though. This was made as the one year "birthday present" to SPEICIDE, which came out one year ago today. While this doesn't religiously subscribe to any take, we did this with Tonyswap in mind, with a few extra references in there (mainly REANIMATION) just for good measure.

If you're curious about name: SPEICIDE meant "killing hope," and CONTRAMORPHEUS means "against dreams," so that we could swap hopes with dreams. Latin is fun.

While we're not exactly "Megalo people," we can't deny the tremendous impact SPEICIDE has had on Aftergore and our account. Our account has over triple the followers it had at this time last year, and SPEICIDE is what put Aftergore on the map for a lot of people. [Unofficial Classicswap Mortatoriel I] CONTRAMORPHEUS

Plot synopsis:
This take on Dusttale entails a different situation where Flowey is the one to initially take action and wipe out monsterkind before the human can. He forces Sans into his plan by saying he won't get to see Papyrus unless Sans aids his vision of defeating the human his own way. Sans isn't made to kill, but help Flowey to override the DT extractor, use Asgore's subsisting soul to power it as a living vessel and harness it as his own via his vines.
Here during the judgement hall encounter, things are a lot different with the DT extractor now relocated by Flowey for the occasion. Flowey and Sans now team up to strike you down. Sans doesn't have any fancy moves here beyond the usual, but is able to attack the renovated DT extractor to create a massive karma fueled blast against you. Once sans goes down, does his usual dodge shtick and gets stabbed by Chara, Flowey takes the kill once more which makes the DT extractor overheat due to not being able to handle being past LV 20.

Now before you go "But Mountain Rapture is already a megalo!", here is my reasoning. The thing with the name Mountain Rapture is that it's a translation of Bergentrückung, which is a Asgore song. I used it due to the fact the subtitle of A-side was something relating to sans, so now it's something relating to Asgore.
I had lots of fun making this one due to the fact it was all just a different perspective from my A-side. I gone heavily into a more 16-bit aesthetic, only using the Mega Man X2 Samples and the Earthbound Soundfont, because I thought it was gonna be fun. Which it was.

After weeks of constant procrastination and frustration using LSDJ, I finally finished this song for good. The old version was a complete flop, knowing that it was never gonna be finished didn't sit right with me so I convinced my lazy ass to get it done. 

This song was supposed to be just short and sweet, but I got carried away while composing and ended up having to use 3 instances of LSDJ saves (If that's considered cheating I sincerely apologize) and almost 7 minutes. Didn't think too much of it though since I was enjoying making this anyway.

I hope you enjoy this remix. I will now return to my 4 month inactivity, see you in the next upload.

Not gonna lie, I made both of these songs at 12AM because I was extremely bored, and by the end of it I was like "Huh, this actually isn't too bad". I can't seem to keep my hands off of Underswap, I genuinely just enjoy making silly songs about this AU every once in a while. And hey, if I enjoy it why not? Anyone remember DROP DEAD? This was essentially my version of the Hurricane Season Megalo, and to this day it remains one of my favorite tracks that I've made. I've updated it twice since its initial release 3 years and 5 days ago, but neither update lives up to the standards of what I want for this song. Despite me saying the previous version would be final, I got to work on one last version in June of 2021 (by coincidence, the second anniversary of the original), and after working for nearly 50 hours across 3 different concepts, I'm proud to present the definitive version of this song, just over a year later.

DROP DEAD: Ballad of the Silent One aims to capture my favorite elements from not just the original DROP DEAD, but also Drop's music, reimagining them in what I believe is my best song yet. I wanted this track to merge our two styles, and I think I managed to pull it off well. You may notice references to some of Drop's greatest hits, such as "Misfortune" and "Our Broken Constellations", but also to some of his other tracks like "A Bit of Wonder" and "Silentman's Court", as well as motifs from the the previous versions of DROP DEAD. Drop was a big inspiration for me in my early days, and as I approach the end of my tenure in this community, I wanted to make some form of a tribute to him and his work. The community certainly wouldn't be the same without him. Here's to you, Brandon!

One element of Drop Dead that stands out on my page is that it's one of the few songs I've done thumbnail art for in every version. I don't do this often, as the only way I can draw digitally is with a mouse in my non-dominant hand. Nevertheless, I created a simple piece for this thumbnail, and I think it turned out nicely. You may also notice the reference to Drop's former Adult Swim-style branding in the title, which I think suits the thumbnail well.
