The 'Prism EP' was inspired by my experience of being a resident for 'The Gallery' at Ministry of Sound London. The classic piano/string combination, coupled with claps and snare rolls seem to always be a crowd pleaser..

Stu Paparat Smith – moved from Cheshire to Austria 1999 to become a stockbroker. But in 2002 as he didn’t like stock broking he decided to become a DJ and although never been one before he did like the idea “I had always fiddled around on the decks at parties pretending to mix”
In 2004 Stu felt his time in Vienna was up and he moved back to the UK and to London. On arrival he decided that he didn’t fancy an office job so he got one working in a pub/bar in Covent Garden, DJing 4 times a week the music he played there was "main stream but I learnt how to blend well and I always got my key changes right!”
Stu did attend the SAE in 2007 but wants to make it clear that none of what he learned there helped him to get to this level of producing.
Stu attributes his music taste and DJing skills to his friends. "From the age of 16 (1991) I have been going to clubs and after parties, so my education/influence in dance music came from my friends – Id like to give shouts out to Mark, John and Stan for my music education and Dimi, Mike and Matt for my DJing skills"

Stu is a self-taught producer and is still producing his music on Logic 8, as he cannot afford the upgrade yet, but hopes that this EP will give him enough to firstly pay his bills and then get the upgrade!

And finally his claim to fame is that he kissed Chaka Khan in 1984 when he was 9 years old "no tongues though!"
