David Mayer’s remix takes inspiration from the African vocal and injects it into the rhythm section, with off-beat snare hits driving the track forward as shakers stutter away. A huge, soaring breakdown is decked out with synth beauty that spills over into the drop but is wisely restrained from anything too overblown. Well-positioned FX whirrs and spins around your head while the lead riff pans around in similarly dizzying fashion.
