Quick, somebody sound the klaxon to alert followers of chuggy-italo-cosmic-mutant style disco, we’ve got an absolute slam dunk here by Nutritious! 
Nutritious first came on our wave length via a flow of pretty amazing release via our very good friends at Paper Recordings (which you should really check out!) so we’re thrilled to snag him and his unique stylings on the Chromatic Palms E.P.

Norway in Italy begins the party and is a slo-mo funk laced groover with a relentless Bernie Edwards style bass line & ‘Nile style’ guitar licks that hook you right in from the off and guarantee much shoulder twitching. Spaced out synth sounds blast in & out alongside warped vocal samples to create a masterclass in how to do ‘weird & wonderful’ with a 10/10 score.

Acid Reign takes the crown for our most wonky sounding release of the year! Right off the bat is an insane sounding synth/bass sound hybrid that sounds like its from another dimension. A few disco strings pop up for a chat with some synth stabs, vocodered/Speak & Spell style vocals and a couple of dramatic drops make this an absolute dance floor mega weapon. Already favoured & supported by Richard Sen on his Do!!You!!! World! Show. BIG!!!

Tom and Col have dusted off their high tops and asked the Paper Allstars to give their favourite album track a rub-down.

Richard Seaborne went for Papa and has kept some 80s flava while stripping things back to the raw groove as only he can. There's a boogie house bass, a rock sold kick, shaky hats and GizMo adding some warped vocals. Oh, and did I mention the acid?

Leon Sweet returns to the fold and it’s good to have him back on Slow Down. Clipped tech-house drums and hypnotic synths burble along, all held down by a kick that carries some serious weight. Using the chiming and vocals from the original, the track builds to a crescendo that will melt dance floors.

Finally Norway’s finest, Magnus International goes breakbeat with a nod to the glory days of rave as he uses plenty of the original track to weave it's weave it’s 5am magic.

Few artists are as aptly named as Adapter. From deep brooding house on Get Physical to techno bombs with Desolat, this man certainly is adaptable! One thing is guaranteed however, and that is massive bombs with the highest level of production.
Adapter gets things rolling with Better Than Yours. An intense tech house jam, which verges in techno with its bouncing off beat bassline and machine gun percussion shots. The edgy beat is contrasted perfectly with a cheeky vocal sample that is sure to bring a smile to the faces on the dancefloor. This one is a peak time weapon, you have been warned!
Up next is Agony. Here we are treated to a rolling tech house cut with heavy analog drum programming and masterful production value. The bassline pushes the track along providing groove and bounce to get the blood pumping. Energetic vocal shouts draw you in closer while hypnotic effects turn the heat up to full power. Here we have a serious dancefloor workout.
Closing out the EP is Damn Thing. In contrast to the other tracks, Damn Thing is a light hearted and funky tech house jam that is sure to get the ladies bouncing on the floor. Throw this bad boy on, pump the volume on full, then stand back and watch the club explode! A sure fire party starter if ever there was one.
