San Francisco's Mr. Tea keeps them coming with another four tracks of deep house fire.

Dream Fortress is a disco house banger of the first order. Wobbly bass, messy percussion, samples and arps aim this right at the bullseye and it doesn't miss.   

Long-time collaborator Wonder adds her vocals to the sensual deep house of Soul Seeker. Pure late night sleazyness.

The Touch Remix strips back the original but keeps the early hours dirt. Samples, bass and arps hypnotise as the track weaves its magic.

Running Home finishes off the EP with washes of synths, techy bass and a hooky vocal refrain. Soul, 80s, ambient, 90s and Balearic are all ready for the perfect moment. Fans of Charles Webster will be all over it.

Amsterdam-based Swedish duo Marmolak return to Ready Mix Records for label release 257, comprising three original tracks, plus remixes by BiGz and Serhe.

Childhood friends Nima & Victor, aka Marmolak describe themselves as 'heavily inspired by radiant Moroccan bazaars and dimly-lit Tehran nights'. These influences glimmer throughout opening cut 'Azul', a subtle and atmospheric arrangement which features haunting flutes and metallic percussion flourishes.

Ready Mix founder BiGz cooks up a delectable helping of electronic dub, gently blending the original parts into a smooth and nutritious groove-cake, with an icing that's all his own.

Paper has been pushing all things deep house and disco from the furthest reaches of the world via the good old North of England since the early Nineties.

The label has already featured a new series of EP's showcasing the best new dance music and future funk, house and disco from the world's finest producers.

We kicked off in 1994, leading the upsurge in popularity of UK house music within an underground scene previously dominated by a soundtrack from US cities like Chicago, Detroit and New York. Enhanced by a strong visual identity, as well as impeccable musical quality control PAPER was, and is one of the world’s most treasured record companies.

It continues to be funk-fuelled and bottom heavy!

Michael Devin (Mr. Tea) was drawn to the electronic music invasion on the British music scene in the late 80's. Influenced by the house music scene and artists such as S'Express, Adamski, N-Joi, Future Sound Of London, Hardfloor and everything else that was happening in the club scene whether it was acid house, house, techno, hardhouse or hardcore.

In 1994, a demo tape sent to Hard Hands, the label created by Leftfield's Paul Daley and Neil Barnes, lead to a release under the name of "Sentinel", a 3-track EP titled "Hurricane". This included the track "Transistor Rhythm" which received heavy airplay by Annie Nightingale on Radio 1.

Another collaboration followed in 1995, this time with Andrew Weatherall and Jagz Cooner of Sabres Of Paradise (along with Bleasdale again), this produced the heavy underground sound of "Crash" under the name of Cymbol on Concrete Recordings. This caught the attention of DJ's like Justin Robertson and Annie Nightingale.

After a few independent releases over the years and a long break after moving to San Francisco, Mr. Tea is back with a biscuit in one hand, and a drum machine in the other...
