Slow cooking has definitely found its master in Ada.

When she reinterprets "25 or 6 to 4" by Chicago, and DJ Koze brings out his inner Burt Bacharach towards the end, even such an old men band becomes bearable. The other piece is even more beautiful.

Space excursions are in fashion. This one lasts no less than 3 minutes.

With `Moon Rider´, our deceleration commissioner beams us at the speed of light to the planet of the ungrateful sweet tooth.

This record is a pure Italian duo craftsmanship affair and brought to you by Mushrooms Project & Almunia. Almunia is the Italian Psychedelic Rock/Disco/balearic project of Gianluca Salvadori & Leonardo Ceccanti. They made some beautiful releases on Claremont 56, Above Machine or Is It Balearic?. Mushrooms Project is the duo composed by Marco Lentano & Giorgio Giri, known for numerous eps on Leng, Under The Shade, Horn Wax, Hell Yeah or Is It Balearic? and its sublabel Uber.
Expect dark balearic summer vibes all over this one. 
Fellow countrymen Daniele Baldelli & Dionigi gave "Arena Raindrops" ,here premiered, a cosmic makeover. Artwork coverage comes from the north of The Netherlands where Klaas Jonkman, also known as De Fantoom, was inspired by the Rupicola Peruvianus creature to paint the cover of this record !

Discotheque Fantastique is a musical collaboration that produces an eclectic spectrum of genres, somewhere between psychedelic rock, rare groove, funk and cosmic disco.
The First release is an EP with three driving tracks. 
The first track by Discotheque Fantastique "carnaval" has a percussive beat, hypnotic bassline, solid funk breaks with layers of tension. The second track by Herr 2003's "bourdonnement de l'amour" is an amazing rework of a classic 70’s psychedelic rock tune with a groovy bass line, punchy female vocals and a shimmering arpeggiator synth. On the B Side, Club Bizarre delivers an incredible extended version of a classic French cut from the 80’s.

The EP series returns with more outlaws from San Francisco, Mexico, Japan, Portugal and err, Nottingham causing havoc on dance floors worldwide.

 Mr Tea is back, this time remixing Praus and he's turned in a deep house, space disco banger.  Tribal drums, analogue B-line and heavy atmospherics result in a 4am melon twister of a track.

Tokyo resident R-04's 'Kanbanwa' is 4.38 of perfectly formed deep disco garage.  Heavy beats blend with synth jams to make way for the popping bass played by Mike Watt of Minutemen and The Stooges fame. That's right, as in Iggy Pop.

For Torn Sail's Treasure, Tiago follows up his epic Birds remix on Claremont 56 with balearic headlights turned to full beam.  A nagging synth bass bounces along as organ, effected vocals and live drums create a mood that's just lovely.

Finally, Picotropico takes things deep with stripped back house track 'Oslove' that uses samples, percussion and drums to take us deep into the jungle.  Halfway through, things pick as the pulsing bass starts to drive a perfect blend of early doors / late night house music.
