MAYPINE are a five-piece pop-punk/alt-rock band from Brighton, UK. Formed in mid-2016, the band have rapidly progressed through the Brighton scene, already establishing themselves as one of the most exciting new pop-punk bands in the UK.

After refining their live show on their UK tour in late 2016, MAYPINE became known for their fresh take on traditional pop-punk, combining punk roots with upbeat and catchy melodies. They draw inspiration from a range of genres, successfully incorporating both heavy and pop elements, resulting in a sound that is often compared to bands such as You Me At Six, As It Is and ROAM.

In late 2016, MAYPINE headed to Emeline Studios with producer Ian Sadler (ROAM/Homebound) to record their EP, ‘In The Back Of My Mind’. The band are set to take the scene by storm with the release of this impressive debut EP, and alongside its release will be announcing a highly anticipated UK tour in August 2017 alongside fellow UK pop-punk heavy-weights Better Than Never and Coast to Coast.

As MAYPINE continue to take over the UK scene in 2017 with their energetic live show, the band look to keep building their already impressive reputation, touring with some of the most exciting bands in pop-punk and making music that you'll want to listen to on repeat.

MAYPINE are vocalist Jason Payne, lead guitarist Becky East, rhythm guitarist and backing-vocals Dan Jarvis, bassist Tommy Roberts and drummer James Holdsworth. Anyone who like bands such as State Champs, Neck Deep, ROAM and Blink-182 will enjoy MAYPINE.
