Aufgebasst, hier kommen neue Beats von unserem Lieblingsfinnen Ville aka Kontrakt. Frisch in unserer Inbox landeten diese vier Tracks: on point und fertig lackiert! Und wie wir das nicht anders von ihm gewöhnt sind, verfolgt Ville bei jedem Titel eine andere Herangehensweise. Zumeist entwickelt Kontrakt auf dieser EP Bilateralitäten. So steigt er in „Armed and Dangerous“ äußerst funky ein und kratzt im Drop dann ganz fies die Kurve. „Biomutant“ als titelgebender Track verbindet postapokalyptische Martial Arts mit mythischen Neurofunkbeats par excellence! „Lanark“ übernimmt den Newskool-Part und geizt dabei nicht etwa auf schottische Art, sondern bratzt erhaben auf dem Rücken von Bleeps und Dialup-Sounds. Den Abschluss macht mit „Temptation“ eine Halfstep-Kick-The-Door-Nummer, die in der letzten Spielminute alles klar macht. Die Zeichen stehen auf Durchbruch. Loistava, Kontrakt!

Cheers up, here are new beats from our favorite Finn Ville aka Kontrakt. These four tracks landed fresh in our inbox: on point and finished lacquered! And as we’ve come to expect from him, Ville takes a different approach to each title. In most cases, Kontrakt develops bilateralities on this EP. So he gets into „Armed and Dangerous“ extremely funky and then scratches the curve very nasty in the drop. „Biomutant“ as the title track combines post-apocalyptic martial arts with mythical Neurofunk beats par excellence! „Lanark“ takes over the Newskool part and isn’t stingy in the Scottish way, but bangs sublimely on the back of bleeps and dialup sounds. The finale is „Temptation“, a Halfstep kick-the-door number that makes everything clear in the last minute of the game. The signs point to a breakthrough. Loistava, Kontrakt!
