There was always a want and a need for a re-birth, a Renaissance! Driven by the enemy in Kraven who crafted over
the millennia a new force that the desert sands could not blow against any longer.

Can the ancient powers of this land draw on the wisdom of their gods and goddesses to fight against a new civilisation who command the skies and heavens with a firepower that lights up the darkness! Will you listen to his cry...... Will you fight ...... ?

Bad Ace drops his debut EP on VTO Records after his outstanding contribution to the label on Chapter I.

2 years in the making and well worth the wait, a monumental masterpiece of Neurofunk DNB.

1/ “Renaissance”

We kick start the release with probably the most epic intro of the year. This shit is cinematic and oscar worthy. If Hans Zimmer and Chris Nolan made a documentary about Neurofunk DNB. Well here it is.

Sizzling Bass hits build us to the crescendo of a drop. and a big challenger for Neurofunk track of the year.

2/ “Kraven”

We are not done just yet with the cinematics. This one is a tearer. A great intricate drum sequence layers across the bass and synth work, giving this one another movie-esque feel.

A violent underbelly of sounds throughout this one, Giving a relentless heads down fist in the air expectation for the crowd and a stand out track for Bad Ace on his debut VTO EP

3/ “Reign”

A welcome flashback from Chapter I, Reign was a stand out track for us on our very first VTO Compilation, so much in fact we placed this as a title header for the EP itself. This one blends the Neuro-Cyberpunk theme with an ancient hieroglyphical Ancient story for the release that encapsulates what this music is all about and the direction it should be heading.

4/ “Settlement”

The final settlement. The final track and a close to a most epic
piece of art. A release over 2 years in the making, 

Settlement takes a technoid influence to close out with some great drum work and vocal snippets reminiscent of those classic
Close 2 Death tracks Bad Ace debuted on many moons ago.

With his uptodate twist to bring it screaming into 2024 and beyond.

We will reign upon the platforms November 28th

PAPERFUNK RECORDINGS – is a dark drum&bass label which sound will be based on the hard and metallic techstep and neurofunk sound. There’s no place for popular sound. The label’s main goal is to flood cities and towns with the special mixtures containing nano-robots that supposed to get inside people’s brains and plunge them down in the deepest adolescent memories and show them the unrealized future. The hardness of the mix, the steel of the drums, the oil of the bass and the rust of the effects – are the main and crucial keywords of the PAPERFUNK label.


Officially speaking, our tracks will be selling out on the majority of the online music stores that’s why it’ll always be easy to find them available on the most popular online shops such as Beatport, TrackitDown, Digital-Tunes, etc.
