Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles - Brick City Love Song

The War of the Sands was a conflict that involved the armies of the Silikan during the summer of I-6200. It broke out due to an expedition led by the brothers Tiliquet and Nalan, who aimed to invade Heera and the people of Thonnheard on the advice and corruption of the Garorthul. However, their advance was hindered by their brother Nollor, who opposed the expedition and sided with the unsuspecting Drudar.

The city of Mice, ruled by Nollor, was besieged for two long weeks by the armies of the brothers Tiliquet and Nalan. However, thanks to the help of the army of Miya, the fourth sister, who had been warned by Nollor's messengers and had already begun marching towards Mice, the south brothers of Saphira managed to repel the armies of the brothers of the north. The war then shifted from the outskirts of Mice to the Falling Hills, where a series of bloody battles were fought.

The war concluded with the Battle of the Dunes, where the brothers of the south emerged victorious thanks to the intervention of Bevegal, the father of the four brothers, who put an end to the conflict and decided to punish his children by taking away their immortality, deeming them incapable of ruling for centuries without falling into the temptation of power and chaos.

Previously unreleased track by A Swarm of the Sun. The song is called Deliver Us From Our Dreams and is featured as an official demo of the Birgir Jón Birgisson (Sigur Rós) produced Post-Rock EZX-expansion for EZDrummer 2 drum production tools.

The track was originally intended as a ten-minute instrumental piece for the band's latest album The Rifts, released in January 2015. When Toontrack asked A Swarm of the Sun to make a demo for their new expansion, it seemed like a great opportunity to give new purpose to the song.
