THE MAP IS NEVER THE RELATIONSHIP.
THE DIAGNOSIS IS NEVER THE PATIENT.
THE OBSERVER IS NEVER OUTSIDE THE OBSERVATION.
AND YOU CANNOT BITE YOUR OWN TEETH.

In the beginning there was a frequency.

Nobody knew what frequency it was.

So they built a machine to find out.

The machine produced a report.

The report said:

UNABLE TO DETERMINE FREQUENCY.
SUBJECT APPEARS TO BE LISTENING TO ITSELF.

And thus Father L. Rod was born.

Not from a virgin.

Not from a burning bush.

Not from a mysterious cloud.

But from the terrible realization that somebody had finally invented a machine capable of measuring everything except the person standing in front of it.

Father L. Rod understood immediately:

The machine was fucked.

Then he understood something worse.

So was the person operating it.

And this was good news.
