Alex Papoutes - No Fear (Original Vocal Edit)

BIO

Alex Papoutes is a young aspiring Dj/Producer who was born in London 1987 and is half Greek Cypriot half English.  Alex’s musical career began at a very young age, when he began to play the guitar at the age of 6 and then after travelling to exotic places around the world with his parents like, South America, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Honk Kong, Philippines, Singapore and so on, had a huge passion for Percussive instruments. He then decided to learn the Darbuka, Djembe, Bongos, Kongos, Tablas, and other percussive instruments too. These experiences and his passion for percussive instruments most certainly influenced his style of music today.

Alex got into Djing around the age of 10 and bought his first turntables. He started off by mixing Drum n bass then moved on to a bit of Trance and Funky house, and now currently focuses on House, Progressive House, Techno, Electro and chill out music.
Alex only began producing music seriously summer 2010, he went straight in to making House electro and Techno and managed to catch a lot of attention early on with his tracks “No Fear” and “Summer Heat”. Most recently he has made 3 popular tracks, one called “SHIFTY” a progressive house track, and the other 2 “Twilight-inbalance” and “Bamboo Forest” which are both chill out electronic tracks. These chill out tracks are a part of his current ongoing Chillout / Electronica Album project “Twilight”.

The attention of these tracks encouraged the interest of the Known Spanish label “Tainted Buddah Records”. Alex then decided to sign on with Tainted Buddah records and will soon have his three latest tracks on two different compilations, one a guide to Ibiza and the other a Tainted Buddah Chill out compilation.

Over this last year Alex has been Performing at local venues in London and has also played in Tokyo whilst he was studying out there last year. Over the next year Alex aspires to get gigs at the baby box room at Ministry of Sound in London and more. Over the coming year Alex has a number of new House projects under development that will be featuring a talented English Opera singer Latitia Keys, as well as the ongoing development of his new Chill out album “Twilight”.   

His hobbies consist of: 
Judo/Capoeira/Kung fu/Kitesurfing/Waterskiing/Percussion/Movies/Japan/Cuisine/Wine/Cigars, to name just a few.
