Tarraxo is a Portugal born musical genre slow vibe who came from Angolan Tarrachinha, it has a similar sonority, but is a bit more energized and aggressive. As in Tarrachinha, Tarraxo has its way on how to dance. wich is mostly moving your hips and legs in tune that we call it "Reboladinha" followed with steps. It's all on the sound we hear and feel.
Fodencia is a Portuguese, and brother of tarraxo genre born on the Ghettos of Lisbon that is more aggressive. With a lot of percussion like bongo, djembe, and all that shi... hahaha
with an aggressive and sometimes saturated kick accompanied by a good bass, little melody and some worked vocal loops.
The way to dance Fodencia? Same as in Tarraxo but a bit more hardcore.
Is like the go crazy version of tarraxo, cause the percussion with the saturated kick.. push you to move more your hips making you feel the Ghetto aggressiveness mixed with African energy.
