Born on Earth on October 9, 1973.
Currently 52 years old, 27 years only as trance DJ, since 1998 has been playing amateur and professional, starting at small parties in Fortaleza, northeast of Brazil, absenting himself from many festivals around the globe because he was pursuing a local legal professional career at the same time, Today it is about to close, because the passion for music has always been stronger as a DJ. He has been known since 1999 by his artistic name dj Mantrix, mixing goa and psytrance on vinyl and cd, coming from Fortaleza, State of Ceará, Northeast of Brazil. He was a founding member of the former group Undergroove, Fortaleza. He played at several local and national trance festivals (Universo Paralello, Festival Alternativo do Kranti, Rave XXXperience, old clubs in São Paulo such as Club-A and Klatu Barada Nikto, among other events). He has lived for 35 years in the warm State of Ceará, a region of Brazil where he learned to play DJ, seeing locals, national and foreign, as Fortaleza is a vibrant tourist city, he helped boost the electronic scene in the North Northeast, he has published works on electronic music and shamanism at Unicamp/SP, lived in São Paulo, Amazonas, Rio de Janeiro (where he was born), currently lives in the rural surroundings of the State of Paraná, in contact with the ecologically balanced environment and divine nature. DJ Bio 🌍🎧

Born in 1960, I’ve been chasing the pulse of electronic music for decades. My journey began at 15 with the mind-expanding world of psychedelic rock, evolved into the energy of early ’90s house raves, and found its true home in the late ’90s psy-trance movement – a passion that never let go.

From 1997 to 2008, I played and danced across Northern Germany’s underground, from intimate clubs to open-air gatherings, appearing at Free Form, Darklight, Mushroom Magazine events, Café Nuclear, Little Tibet, and beyond.

After a fearless but ill-fated dive into event promotion in 2000, I took a long creative pause – only to return in 2022 with renewed fire. Today, my sets fuse house, techno, deep tech, and indie dance into progressive, hypnotic journeys designed to captivate dance floors without a way back.

Regularly releasing fresh mixes on SoundCloud and curating global sounds for 94,000+ followers via my “Trip_Space_Collector” network, I continue to explore the deep connection between rhythm, emotion, and the collective high of the dance floor.

From the psychedelic roots to the modern club circuit – I’m here for the long run, and the trip is far from over.

I produce, mix and host a weekly radio program called BEATSCAPE: where creative minds meet up with dancing feet! Every week, I deliver a 3 hours of the hottest new releases. From deep-house to soulful, tech-house to deep-techno, dubstep to 4x4, ambient to IDM, post-dubstep to grime.
Currently broadcasted in France and Switzerland, my purpose is to educate a "mainstream audience" to what I consider to be "quality music", following my only moto: if I like it, I play it!
