So Shovel Knight is pretty freaking sweet. And it has a super awesome soundtrack, though I've never been one that loves chiptunes as much as other people. But I love BOTH the themes that play for when you fight your rival, The Black Knight, so I wanted to make an arrangement of it in my regular style. That being said, it's been a while since I've worked on a theme that's required as much work as this one. Seeing how it's my first time covering a chiptune by ear, I've had to listen to the source materials so many times, I started to get a headache of it as I reached the end, as dissecting the song into different instruments and sounds by ear is kinda hard when most of the "instruments" sound pretty much the same. Nevertheless, I enjoyed making it, so I hope you do too!
