Born in Quito, Ecuador on January 31, 1987, he received flute lessons and musical initiation from the age of 3 years old with the Ecuadorian Master and Guitarist Nivia Flores. Later, he continued studying classical guitar and contemporary techniques with the same Master. He has participated in numerous seminars with great masters of the guitar, such as the Ecuadorian Master Terry Pazmino and the American Master Eladio Scharron. He studied jazz and blues with his brother Enrique Cuesta. In recent years, he has been involved in several bands; among them we can highlight the following: Coffee Break (Pop & Rock), Breakin (Pop & Rock) and Armónico Simple (Fusion). He has been the promoter of the latter group. This commitment to encourage Ecuadorian music has been one of his main goals in his artistic life. He is also cultural promoter participating with some artists in concerts and fairs in Ecuador and abroad. The most representative participation was at NAMM SHOW 2014 where he exposed with Master Luthier Olivo Chiliquinga the best guitars and requintos made of wood from many years ago. He is also a Commercial Engineer and a MBA with a great deal of experience in these fields.
