I wanted this to be the first track from Drive I shared with you all not because it's the biggest or the best, but because it's probably my personal favourite.

The album was basically inspired by a road trip I took with my wife from New York to Los Angeles last year, taking in Route 66 and numerous ghost towns, deserts, mountain passes, dirt roads etc, and I came up with the melody for this one towards the end, somewhere in the Mojave Wilderness as we finally made it into California, the setting sun of the West in the distance. A long way from home, and still fairly far from our final destination, but the end was in sight. And that's the moment the track basically came to describe. It isn't really a club banger, or a club track. It's just something I felt like writing.

Anyway - enough deep shit. Still feels slightly surreal to be sharing this body of work after waiting so long. More soon.

After talking with John O'Callaghan in Ibiza 2009 & receiving his huge support of Aztec, a plan was formed to work on a collab together at some point in the future.
Well the collab came in the form of Rhea which featured the vocals of Aztec's Polly Strange but this time used as a more stand alone aspect of the track instead of a combination of main riff & vocal.

Rhea was played extensively in Live Sets by Armin Van Buuren & also heavily supported by Sean Tyas, Bryan Kearney & the rest of the Irish Trance DJ's as well as many others.

Named after the mother of the Gods, Rhea was a big summer anthem of 2010 & signed to John's Subculture label.

“Summer Rain” is the brand new hit by Iveta Mukuchyan and her producer Lazzaro for this year’s late summer. Well known as singer and model, she presents her catchy House Pop single release including phat, clubby remixes by Uplink and Tom Pulse.

Iveta Mukuchyan started her career in her homeland Armenia, although she has been living in Germany since 1992. Her fifth rank in the Armenian version of “Pop Idol” made the kick off. Since 2012, her career progressed more intensely – both as a model and a singer. Entitled “Sexiest Armenian 2012”, she released “Freak” in collaboration with her compatriot and producer Lazzaro, which has been massively successful in Armenia. In the same year, she has been one of the favourite contestants of ‘Team Xavier Naidoo’ in the German TV show “The Voice of Germany”. Meanwhile, her fan base on Facebook has reached an impressive amount of more than 50.000 likes. Iveta maintains an interactive communication with them and presents songs, pictures and news updates on a regular basis.

Now, her new single release “Summer Rain” is ready to be released by the record label Sonic Art Music, which she has again produced in collaboration with Lazzaro. In cooperation with the label, they provide a complete package including an absolutely catchy Radio Edit and clubby mixes with remixes by Uplink and Tom Pulse. The beautiful ear-catching vocals of Iveta and the epic piano chords of the verse and chorus evolve their full impact until being released into the amazing mainpart. Para X, Trance DJ/Producer from Frankfurt, Germany has gone from strength to strength in the Trance scene and is quickly becoming a household name, charting regularly in the industry standard Beatport Chart Top 100. His label Intense Emotions is also working it's magic too, with some stellar names releasing on the imprint. Para X is one of the most exciting producers in Germany with his Uplifting sound. His very first release “Tears” came in 2001, which he produced for the closing of the world famous and legendary 'Dorian Gray Club' at Frankfurt Airport. Having paved his own way, he was able to cause another sensation in 2003, when he released his track “Skytunes”, which was to be the incarnation of his very own “Para X-Sound”.

Since then, Para X has continuously released high quality records and remixes on labels such as ITWT, Flashover, AVA White, Universal Nation, Discover Records, Monster Tunes and gained strong support from many of the most influential DJ’s such as Armin Van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Sean Tyas, Paul Van Dyk, John Askew and many more. He also features regularly on well known compilations such as Dream Dance, and Technoclub – to just to name a few. He also released his artist album "Rising Star“ on CD in 2017 which  features some of his rare Chill Out and Progressive Trance productions.

Para X initially started out on the smaller club circuit and featuring regularly on radio shows. Soon after he was given the opportunity to showcase his skills at Talla 2XLC's legendary Technoclub - captivating the audience with his emotional and powerful musical journey. Para X has been a man in demand and has also featured in countries such as Prague, London and Amsterdam. He has also played some of the biggest dance events and open air festivals in the industry such as Airbeat One 2007, Dance For Love, ADE 2017, Luminosity Beachfestival 2019. 

Amongst all this Para X runs a monthly radio show called ''Intense Emotions Reloaded“ alongside his long time friend Ciacomix every third Sunday of each month on Trance Channel DI.FM.
