Para aka Para Beats is a UK based DJ / Producer. A pioneer of the UK Garage scene, Para run and produced for one of the most critically acclaimed garage labels "DEA Project and Booby Trap Records" and was an infamous DJ on the garage circuit, playing at major events all over the world and holding down radio shows on the UK's biggest pirate stations.

Para also played a massive part in the development of the UK Hip-Hop / R&B scene, producing some of the biggest UK tracks, at one point Para had 5 tracks on the Channel U playlist simultaneously that he had produced, he quickly became known as one of the UKs number 1 Hip-Hop / R&B producers.

In addition to Para's underground success, Para has also had UK chart entries and has completed official production and remixes for many mainstream and underground artists including: Victoria Beckham, Ray J, Carmen Reece, So Solid, Sway, Asher D, Gabrielle, Swiss, Craig David, Robbie Craig, Busta Rhymes, Bigz, Ladies First, Lisa Maffia plus many more, in addition to this, Para has completed official work for many record labels including: Hed Kandi, Locked On, Pure Garage, Go! Beat, Telstar, Warner, Polydor and Sony to name a few.

Para is currently known as one of the elite artists in the game, making and playing new UK Garage and pushing the scene forward. He lives by the mantra "It's not what I have done, but what I do today that counts".

Para has a large dedicated army of followers that support his every move as he continues to grow as an artist. Seamlessly adapting to the younger consumers of the genre, Para is one of the few heads "back in the day" that has huge support and admiration from the new generation of garage fanatics. With notable releases and features on Conducta's Kiwi Rekords, EZ's Nuvolve Music and recent signings to New State Music, Para is without a doubt a leader in the next gen UK Garage wave.
