Full-power, groovy, oozing, organic psychedelic trance. Played live at pulsar technocolor supper collider, at 4:30 AM, at. Full spectrum journey out of the nighttime forest, through the Twilight and into the mornign sunrise as the last track was mixed in... Enjoy

PS, In the original recording, after I had mixed in the last track and before it had finished playing, the DJ who went on next started loading the wrong CDJ, and stopped the music (not my fault). So I stitched the last track back together in sound forge, there may be a slight volume change, but it should be barely noticeable.

This was my set from Sunday morning at the Foreverland festival Sept 19-21 in Northern California, the psytrance stage done by my wonderful crew Pulse SF. That morning I played after Mad Maxx, before Groove Addict, and then following was Hypnoise, Sonic Species, Paradigm then Perfect Stranger--was an honor to be part of that epic lineup that morning. Khromata is a passionate DJ who seeks to spread the cutting edge sound of the psychedelic underground. She has adroitly crafted her signature fun, funky and unique style, that has been embraced by dancers on dancefloors far and wide.

Khromata exudes a genuine, passionate energy from behind the decks that is reciprocated by the dance floor. With a blend of refined technical skills, unique creativity, and a learned understanding of how to take dancers on a meaningful journey during her sets, she has been embraced globally through her performances and online mixes and radio appearances. Different scenes with different audiences seek her out because of her versatility, while always staying true to her signature sound. She'll play anything from drum and bass to psydub, but is mostly known for her psybreaks and psychedelic trance sets.

Khromata began DJing 2010, finally following through with what had been a 13 year fascination with DJing. From Ambient to Zydeco and everything in between, she finds inspiration in the diversity and beauty of music, and DJing was a natural progression of expression for her musical passion, a continuation of what she has always done and what she loves to do--share good music.

Khromata's interest in music and the dance music scene goes beyond from behind the decks and into academics. With a focus on Sociology and Anthropology in her education, she is deeply interested in the cultural implications of dance music. She wrote her senior college thesis on transnational psychedelic trance culture and spirituality to understand her passions on a deeper level.

In the four years that she has been DJing, she has gained the respect from her peers for what she's accomplished by staying true to her sound and the music she loves. In this time she has played multiple undergrounds, renegades, warehouses, festivals, clubs and raves in and out of state, and she has played numerous opening and closing sets for legendary international headliners. 

Khromata has been sought after by world renowned crews and labels. Currently, Khromata is a resident DJ for Pulse SF, one of the premier psychedelic trance event production crews in the United States; a label DJ for Digital Om Productions, a label based out of India with consistent high quality and chart topping releases, and Rune Recordings a top breaks label based out of Ukraine.

Rule Of Rune 044 With The Guest Host Khromata (12.11.2014)

Hello and welcome to the third in the Apson mix series, Apson Psydub III. It is airing on DI.fm Psychill channel for the Winter Solstice celebration. 

The name of this mix series is inspired by the Apsara, or in Thai อัปสร (Apson), the beautiful dancing supernatural female beings of the clouds found in Hindu and Buddhist mythology. When I made this mix I could envision these Apsons dancing sensually through dubby fractal space goddess palaces floating in the sky....so sit back, relax and enjoy :)

Known for his detailed and surgical mixing style, a well curated taste of music and the ability to weave a story through a set regardless of style or time of day. Paradigm is a DJ's DJ. A rare slice of the old school that still believes in the "art of the mix" and the story telling journey aspect of a performance. 
Residing in Los Angeles since 2013, Paradigm has found himself a mainstay of the United States Psychedelic scene for multiple generations having previously called San Francisco, Denver and the American Midwest as home. As both a event promoter and DJ he has long brought forth a ethic of professionalism and exceptionalism.
The years have seen him associated with many major players in the global scene. As a promoter, he is a integral part of the Pulse Events team, a event organization that can easily be argued as being the most regarded Psy oriented crew in the United States. Wearing his DJ hat as he refers to it, Paradigm has been a label DJ for Blacklite Records and United Beats and farther in the past for Maia and Mindfunk records. With multiple well charted compilations to his name, he continues to show that his finger is always on the pulse of Trance, no matter the era.
In 2018 he has launched Sculpted Sounds,his own label project with the intent on raising the bar of the United States and North America's contributions to the world wide scene. While Paradigm has enjoyed considerable success throughout his home continent  2018 is looking like a global breakout year for him alongside Sculpted Sounds.
 Sometimes controversial but always passionate one would be hard pressed to deny his drive and love for Psychedelic , Full On and Progressive Trance.
