On our third release we present Moodfamily co-founder Beazar with his first complete EP - Short Circuit. 

'Asem' kicks off the EP with a clubby vibe. While jagged rhythmic percussion keeps the track on edge, a minimum of elements manage to keep you on your toes. Joran Van Pol strips it down even more in his remix and chooses a steady hypnotic adaption. Although 'Tricks' is tongue-in-cheeck, intricate melodic phases bring some earnestness to the table. This is in contract to the more subtle -, nuanced groove and sounds in 'Eerie', where vocal tricks, minimal melodies and tight, yet elaborate rhythms create a unique atmosphere. Future promise Andonian remixes Eerie and brings an after-hours vibe. This French duo manages to build tension, add numerous melodic textures and eventually tailoring it for the club while keeping focus at the same time.

Alessandro Diga, a young talented dutch artist, delivers 3 solid techno tracks for the fifth release on the BergWacht record label. “Phaedra” starts with a great bassline and goes into a warm melodic techno track with a lot of emotions, dreamy synths and it goes along with a clear hihat. The track is able to be dreamy and not cheesy at the same time. “Sonora” is grounded on a rolling bassline and clear hi-hats as well, it goes over in nice effects with outstanding breaks, but it finds back to the starting rhythms. “Dahlia” the hidden B-2 track transmits a deep journey with melancholic feelings.

Exclusive Enzo Elia feat. Manuel Sirotti 'Desert'

Berlin based producer Enzo Elia makes his debut on Munich based label Compost Disco with a four tracker entitled 'Game Of Circle'. His track 'Desert' represents Enzo's preference for Balearic disco-ish influences that his audience could witness on former productions but now have reached a new level. The track's downtempo vibes are enhanced with Manuel Sirotti's guitar riffs and a mixture of deep synth chords and disco elements that underline both: Enzo's playful approach to music as well as a maturity in matter of arrangement and sound diversity. 'Desert' is far from portraying a dry image  but rather a fresh musical painting.

Enzo Elia's EP 'Game Of Circles' will be released February 2nd, 2017 on Compost Disco.

The duo of Burudu started quite unknowingly. Hailing from New Dehli & Mumbai in India, Nakul and Sahil began working together in 2012. By combining their history and their musical experiences, the pair gradually formed a unique sound. Mating grooves with dissonance, fusing unusual pulses into soundscapes, the combination of their sensibilities allowed them to follow the higher idea of natural mixture and convolution, and to continue to create something, yet unknown. Their evolution was highlighted with previous releases such as their triphop-oriented album from 2017 - Ditties or their more recent single 'Trading Noises’.
As sign of continuous growth, Burudu once again showcases talent in finding new sounds and creating the unusual twists that are always welcomed in Moodfamily.  Recurrent ethnic melodies are layered alongside slow percussion in a devastating opening and title track. A playful piano lures you into 'Taken Granted' 's deceiving rythm and a smooth daunting melodic groove runs so deep in 'The Dust is Polite', the soul-crushing claps remind you to resurface, now and again...  Blessed with equal quality and expertise, 'Saviors' drags jungle rhythms over a looming foundation... A remix by Moodfamily member Harted draws the closing track to his comfort zone. So please settle in to Burudu's comfy and delicate couch. Glad to be home - with family.
