On our third release we present Moodfamily co-founder Beazar with his first complete EP - Short Circuit. 

'Asem' kicks off the EP with a clubby vibe. While jagged rhythmic percussion keeps the track on edge, a minimum of elements manage to keep you on your toes. Joran Van Pol strips it down even more in his remix and chooses a steady hypnotic adaption. Although 'Tricks' is tongue-in-cheeck, intricate melodic phases bring some earnestness to the table. This is in contract to the more subtle -, nuanced groove and sounds in 'Eerie', where vocal tricks, minimal melodies and tight, yet elaborate rhythms create a unique atmosphere. Future promise Andonian remixes Eerie and brings an after-hours vibe. This French duo manages to build tension, add numerous melodic textures and eventually tailoring it for the club while keeping focus at the same time.

Marketing Music last musical transmission for 2014 is a stunning split artist release by Brwn Shoes and Cheapit. The release opens with Brwn Shoes, a French born, London formed and Valencia based producer. Inspired by repetitive aspects of Zuckerzeit, he delivers the hypnotic and ethereal Clocks. Otherworldly sounding instant classic. The second track of the release comes from Cheapit AKA Marc Antoine Bianco, better known as one half of Parisian duo Villanova who have released original music and remixes through labels such as Cocoon, My Favorite Robot and No.19 Music. His Mafe is like a soundtrack for our dark s/m basement. Enjoy!

We wanted every track to be special as it’s not only the club anniversary, but also the 2nd birthday of our lovely label! Beigesteuert haben diese einige unserer Residents und Label-Künstler: DJ Aroma, Iorie, Kuriose Naturale, Madmotormiquel, Mario Aureo & Manuel Moreno und Patryk Molinari. Sicher wäre jeder einzelne Track ein eigenes Release wert gewesen, aber was soll der Geiz? Zur Feier des Tages packen wir sie allesamt auf unsere Geburtstags-Compilation und gönnen sie uns alle auf einmal! Schließlich ist das Club-Jubiläum nicht der einzige Grund zum Feiern – gleichzeitig ist es auch der zweite Geburtstag unseres Labels.
