Wow, this is really nice Paradise! I think you could use a bass to follow this chord progression. The bass slides are great but some long notes to go with these chords would be great. Also, think about maybe keeping it soft and closed when the beat hits - I would lower the cutoff of the sharper synths there and maybe get some whooshing reverb elements in there.

I think you actually do have a sub-ish bass there but I would balance it with the slide down, there should be no different in timbre and volume between the two. Try using the same patch and tweak so it works for both.
