Austrian label @Drowne Records are on the verge of their new release next week. Ran by Altberg & Tony Vegazz, they have a great underground ethos featuring artists like Sutter Cane, Chris Colburn, XHEI to Krenzlin and many more.

The latest “Textures EP” from DT favourite @RicardoGardunoMusic who we featured recently, gets the remix treatment from Netherlands based rising star and Affin stalwart, @KeithCarnal.

The track itself gets a stomping and slightly more melody driven twist, with sparse atmospherics that create a dreamy ambience. Slowly building tension and a euphoric edge take hold, with subtle soundscapes and hidden details, this can work in many stages of a DJ set and was our choice for this “DT:Premiere.”

@Nonlinear-Systems is a German label pulling its weight in the Techno scene after only 7 releases. Curated by label boss @SvenSchaller, they have released music from Rebekah, Hans Bouffmyhre, DJ Emerson, Perc, amongst many others top class artists and put out a recent album from previous DT guest Niereich.

We selected the title track from @Christian-Gerlach for this DT:Premiere which goes by the name of “Aando.” Consisting of a great spooky atmosphere, whiney whale-esque synths and rocking kick, that soon breaks out into a plucky melancholic trip with a rising crescendo. Perfect mood setter, that really works for us.

The perfect embrace is one that's not too tight yet doesn't make you feel as though the other person is only doing it out of courtesy. The strive of human-kind to strike the balance between making the receiver of the aforementioned embrace feel the perfect combination of bear-like tightness and kitten-level tenderness is something that scientists will never quite be able to figure out. Let's hope we're proved wrong on that one as we could all do with a perfect embrace every now and again.
