so this is my cover of the brilliant "Shooting Stars" by Bag Raiders. i remember listening to the original about 8 million times when it came out... it was one of the first indie/electronic tracks that I really fell in love with, and it's one of those songs that for years would randomly get stuck in my head... and yep that's me singing :) really proud of how it turned out... hope i did the original justice and ENJOY!!!

07 NieR Automata OST - The Dark Colossus Kaiju

It's a J-POP chiptune I made in 2014 - it is a cover of the main-title music from Sailor Moon Stars anime TV-series. :) 

I prepared it especially for my concert in Tokyo/Japan, in 2014 (the Square Sounds Tokyo chiptune festival). 

This particular song has been designed for a ZX Spectrum with TurboSound interface (2 x AY chip = 6 channels). 

As I use only the standard ZX SoundTracker 1.1 editor (the oldest tracker for Spectrum, released in 1991 or 1992) - and it uses only 3 channels - I had to make _separately_ two "halves" of the song :) NOT hearing them both at once, hehehe. I had to... 'imagine' one while making another. :)

Only when I finished the song, I merged both the halves together and then I was able to play entire song (and record) from my Speccy2010 comp - and it was the first time I actually heard my tune, hehehe. 

Anyway, it took me something like a month (or more) to make the cover: I love the song but it isn't the easiest to do. ;)

Geez, I haven't uploaded here in a while XD . It was requested that I upload all my Calamity remixes here, so that is what I shall do! Looking back on this remix, I have to say that I don't really like it much anymore... It just sounds very empty, and it lacks the charm, emotion, and depth of the original. But regardless of my opinion, it seems to be pretty well-liked on my YouTube channel, so I'm just happy that other people can enjoy it XD .
