Ark To Ashes label boss Shadi Megallaa got some down-time from his Dubai record shop, The Flip Side, to produce this EP. It features 2 original productions with one being a collaboration with fellow Egyptian & Dubai resident Omar Fayyad. 

The remixes on the EP come courtesy of Rhauder with his signature subaquatic dub techno & another of Shadi’s friends, the prolific electro wizard Reedale Rise. Ark To Ashes has returned & it’s not looking back.

Member of the IWOU crew and Sonartek, Italian producer NK aka Niki Ilb is back with a new release for Bebop Records. 

He co-created the Bebop label alongside longterm friend and collaborator Miki a year ago as he was coming with new music productions. As he sent them to Miki, they came up with the idea of a new label to release those last tracks. The name Bebop then arose from the strong jazz contamination Niki's music has.

As Bebop 001 was a strong break piece with a less club-oriented mood, they decided to go with some tracks for the club for the second record. Bebop 002 is a four-tracker EP that resonates between deep and dark, groovy and energised. Det Gode Selskab is an event series, a DJ collective and a label with a sonic profile that sits somewhere between minimalist soundscapes and emphatic grooves.   Tod Louie and Chris Solaris is a case of opposites attract that first led to them sharing the booth and laying the foundation for Det Gode Selskab. Tod Louie, a farm boy with a story that sees him playing on the same bill with Sasha and Astral Projection at the age of 13 in his own backyard, and Solaris the focussed facilitator. They found a kindred spirit in one another bonding over an eclectic musical lexicon that bounced from Ambient to techno, through Disco, Garage and House. They found an innate connection through their respective record collections, which they’ve sharpened to an esoteric sound as the figureheads behind Det Gode Selskab collective.
