If the Space Time Surfer EP charts a journey through parallel dimensions of rhythm and introspection, then Christopher Ledger’s remix of Let Yourself Go is the vessel that folds spacetime into a soft cocoon of musical elegance - a spacecraft carved from light and logic.

Where Donnie Cosmo’s original track zigzags through breakbeat terrains like a cosmic serpent shedding skin mid-flight, Ledger’s version gently reshapes the momentum, slowing the breath, elongating the moment. It’s as if the track inhales deeply before entering another orbit - one less turbulent, more translucent, yet still pulsing with quiet propulsion.

Ledger’s rework doesn’t just remix; it refracts. Every element is bathed in an ethereal clarity, as though the original’s raw edges have been smoothed by stardust. The drums remain crisp but delicate, a constellation of percussive clicks that tether the track to gravity, while gauzy pads swirl like the solar wind around a dying star - soft, spectral, infinite. Torture the Artist is a webzine, or a magazine made for the internet, geared towards those with a passion for contemporary electronic music, with subgenres including Techno, Tech House, Deep House and Eletronica, as well as a small amount of Indie and Alternative. Founded in 2014 by Holger Breuer, a German native and lover of the arts, Torture the Artist now consists of five team members from all around the world.

Joakim Frithjof has been quietly making his mark in the underground scene. Starting out with a love for Hip-Hop, turntablism, and early House, his musical journey took a new turn when he moved to Amsterdam in 2005, where clubs like Club11 and Trouw shaped his evolving sound. Over the years, he’s played across Amsterdam, hosted his own parties in Utrecht, and even made appearances in cities like Copenhagen, Berlin, and Stockholm.

His style? Hard to pin down. He loves mixing things up, drawing from House, breakbeat, UK Garage, floathouse, rave, and classics. Always keeping it fresh but never forgetting the roots. He’s more about making people move than fitting into any one box.

Beyond DJ’ing, he applies his wide-ranging taste in music to curating playlists for brands and physical spaces. As Music Director at Kollekt.fm and with his own venture, Sonic Curations, he helps create custom playlists and music identities that not only fit the aesthetic but also enhance the atmosphere, leaving behind a lasting audio impression.

Fun Fact: The first CD he ever bought at age 12 was The Prodigy’s The Fat of the Land, a purchase that marked the beginning of a lifelong obsession with music.
